Your Sentinels burst forward, leaving a long trail of particles in their wake!
They form up in a line and fire upon Enemy Pilot A!
Three quick staccato bursts are fired!
The Enemy Pilot's sheild hisses violently during the first burst!
The Enemy Pilot's shield takes another hit!
The Enemy Pilot's shield has broken!
The Enemy Pilot's shell takes some damage.
Tracking software reports 8/9 hits.

Drones mobilize.
They haphazardly dash about in front of the Pilot A!
They open fire upon Sentinel II!
Sentinel II's shield roars under the onslaught!
The shield has taken 100 damage, deflecting 10 bullets.

You release the missiles!
Someone somewhere said something about Macross.
Two of the ERMS missiles sail past their target.
The rest of the missiles slam into their target, rapid explosions decimating it!
The Pilot A still stands. His mech is in critical condition. Sparks are coming from the escape pod- will it work?



Note. The Drones are still at full energy. Their shields are light but their generators are hyperactive. I.. I implore you to keep up with your own energy levels, it's not something I think i can do for every turn. If you have a problem or want to know something, I'll calculate it, but...

Added a little something in the newer rules- the shields autocharge the cost, meaning the Mythril does not regain any power. If you quickcharge it, each time above the normal charge (0) is (Base Cost+(5*QuickCharges). Regeneration= Base Cost + 5.
So that:
No quick charges: 0 cost. 0 regeneration.
1 quick charge: 5 cost.  5 regeneration.
2 QC:              10 cost. 5 regen.

Ok. Everyone, be prepared for long ass waits.
I'm going to do these things in order, and if someone is offline, the order goes down.
So I can focus on one thing at a time.

This is a lot more hectic than I first thought, even if I'm making asking you super nicely to watch your own energy and shields- since I can't check that every time until I have the database up- which will take a good chunk of time, maybe two days with minimal updating.

Argh. Still feels so beta.

Well, that shield is borked, and you wound up with 50 shell damage. I'm going to make sure I remember that.

Also, i haven't been keeping track of ammo, but I doubt you've done much to the reserves. Made it so that it took a few turns... let me check those launchers.


The ERMS missiles find their target!
Two of them sail past their target.
Mech Pilot B took heavy fire! (-65 Shell!)
Mech Pilot B's shield explodes violently!
Mech Pilot B's mech shakes, then regains balance.

The drones buzz about angrily!
They open fire, releasing a maelstrom of bullets!
Their inaccurate spray only gets 11 hits.
Sentinel II is in danger, having taken 110 HP damage to shell!
Sentinel II's total Shell HP is 140.

The drones look menacing in numbers, despite their relative ease to kill.
Pilot A has abandoned his mecha. It sits there, smoldering. [Loot Bonus! More parts.]


Please double-check ammo. I think all is correct with the launchers, but I wanted to set this up as a refrence point.

Wait is Sentinel II's shell at 140HP? Or did it lose 110HP on top of the earlier 50?
Also, did my Seekers fire their Dragonsbreath, and did my Skirmishers fire their <insert whatever it is I told them to fire>? I don't see anything about it in this post.

I'll get the ammo info in a second.

Nope,things moved, so it's your turn start.

You're at 140 HP. I'll go ahead and tell you that the drone rifles are innacurate but capable of 40 if all for shots hit- it's got Fire [10/4].
The big guys had the same thing, but there's only one of him. It's medium difficulty for a reason, although your tactics were sound enough.

I see this going two ways- retreat Sent II, or get him out of range- then bombard the drones. They're fast but weak, like an armored mosquito.

Or you could hammer the hell out of everything the dorf fort way.

6 turns until carrier's engines are ready, btw.

Yeah. If you can destroy your enemy in a total of 12 turns, you win the huge pot o loot. If you don't... well, you still get the peices from the mechs you killed.

I'm also out for tonight- i might do one or two suprise updates.

Note that these missions will only be available until Monday- they're beta testing in a way. After that, each district gets one mission and then work orders/ Crisis missions can come into play. You'll see it when it comes.

Please. Don't expect your battles to be done before Sunday. at the best, and possibly next week at the worst. I launched this right before school testing, so... It's going to be a grind for a bit.

No worries, I've got finals coming up as well.

Does destroying the carrier's shields count as "Destroying the enemy"? Or does that net me less loot?
And can mechs move through enemies? If not, I think I've got a plan.

Mechs cannot move through enemies, however, destroying the shield immediately ends the mission- the ship, the loot, all of it is yours.

Since we're so far in, here was how I planned out this mission- the drones are the real enemy. They're quick and the only thing they lack is a blade. You*hint* might be able to push them back by forcing your way right up to them *unhint* but their rifles are trained on your Sent II... The good thing is it's more than likely going to survive one round... two, however, is doubtful.

Your plan intrigues me. More updates all around.
