Then read.  :P))

Sector C 27: Aboard the Godsplitter

Rezavres Ethedel
Location: Near Airlock A-6(+1 Attack/ defense bonus)

The remaining boarder turns back to you, and you desperately try to pull out your sword. Sadly it is completly stuck. You could have said much bad about your opponent, but he certainly wasn't a spineless man. The boarder readies his rifle, and through the cracked helmet you can see his bloodied face. One though forms in your mind. You ready your fist and punch through his visor, showering his face with glass once more and punching him unconcious.

You then free your sword and take up position behind the airlock once more. While it is unlikely the enemy will be fooled once more, you are in a superior position. However, as you look through the airlocks window you see a most unsetteling sight. A Class C breaching charge is floating idly through the airlock, and the detonator has already been attached..

Raelin Tal'dir
Location: Bridge

You ponder the reason for the enemies prolonged survival for a moment. Probably his helmet took the brunt of the force. You then take aim, making care not to hit the Captain, and pull the trigger. No shot echoes through the corridors. It only takes you a second to realize the weapon jammed. For a moment you worry about the captain, but then he punches through the enemies vizor. As the enemy slowly falls backwards he takes up his position once more.

Spoiler: Enemies (click to show/hide)

Jack Dendy
Location: Aft section

You open the hatch to coax the boarders in to trying to enter again. However it seems they don't trust you, as they instead throw a square packet into the airlock, before scooting away from it at maximum speed. You suspect it to be an explosive, probably strong enought to blow up the airlock. The hacker seems to have ceased his attempts at hacking the system. Wherether it was because he couldn't get through the security or because he accomplished his goal you don't know. You decided to take some additional measures and lock of all other airlocks and several more blast doors.

Arrod Werin
Location: Front section(+1 attack bonus to defender/ +1 armor bonus to defender)

You yell for someone to tell you what happened. Gamma answers: "You were caught by a flashbang sir. As for the battle: All enemies have been disabled sir. Should we try to save them? Second: the Captain has intercepted a flanking maneuvre by the enemy, and is asking for reinforcements."

Sai'oda Fresa
Location: Front section(+1 attack bonus to defender/ +1 armor bonus to defender)

You decide to escort the boarders to the brig. Sadly it seems this vessel doesn't really have a brig, so you just lock them into a nearby store room. You wonder if you shouldn't do anything to keep them from bleeding out. Since your radio is turned of, you don't hear the captains request for assistance. (Your crew might or might not have heard it, depending on what you want to do)

Sai'oda grunted. She knew rough battlefield surgery-enough to mend this lot, at least. She sent the others to get supplies.

When they were gone, she snapped her radio on, heard some frantic calls, then shrugged. She tossed it to the ground and shot a neat hole into it with one the captured boarders sidearms, then clipped it back on her belt. Enemy fire, really tricky.

Action: Get some supplies and patch up the prisoners. Keep them bound and have guns on them.

((I failed again, didn't I?  :P))

Raelin checked the barrel of her rifle, tapped it and reloaded to eject the bullet. She shoud've made sure to service it before all this.

But other than her now-sprained ankle, at least it was back and working after a few taps.

"Should we change position, Sir?"

Vent where they are. They don't need oxygen!

"Engineer, vent the outer hatch, but not the corridor I am in. Activate any defense systems on the airlock and punt that explosive away from us."
This.

Rezavres stares at the charge before sprinting towards Raelin.
"Helmswoman, contact the boarders outside and tell them their first boarding party was destroyed and that if they do so much as inflict a scratch upon my ship, I will consider executing all prisoners and in addition, as soon as they enter through the hole they made, they'll all be killed with no mercy. I will stomp on their heads and disembowel their bodies like they were puppets. I will decorate my quarters with their limbs and heads and I will use their arms to scratch by back each time I have an annoying itch. Give them one last chance not to get themselves killed. The offer is only good until that charge explodes."

He quickly changed channels to the engineer:
"Engineer, vent the outer hatch, but not the corridor I am in. Activate any defense systems on the airlock and punt that explosive away from us."

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.

"I am sprinting away from the airlock at this very moment."

Rei dribbled her fingers on the Rifle stock, staring at a nearby crate in contemplation of what to say, according to the Commander's orders. Her confidence in her speech should work here.

She held up a hand and flicked a switch on her visor, opening the channel to the outside and emulating the voice of the TC Achilles' now-deceased Captain. Grinning as she spoke, starting the broadcast with bits of intentional static, "*Static* this is the Captain of the Achilles, I am alive, hit by a teleportation beam before the impact*static*and under custody of R*static*... All surviving crew, we are held under gunpoint and *static*...I order you all to stand down. This enemy has destroyed all attempts at rescue. Do not attack.

I repeat, stand down and surrender. Stand down, for the good of the Confederacy."

She wondered if this would work, and added a few more additions, noticing that the first was made as a broadcast on all channels.

Ah well, what can you do?

Sector C 27: Aboard the Godsplitter

Rezavres Ethedel
Location: Near Airlock A-6(+1 Attack/ defense bonus)
Health: 38/40 (Foot cut of by Non OSHA compliant blast door. Heavy bleeding)

You sprint away from the airlock and are halfway through your threats when an explosion shakes the room. It's sounded quite powerfull and will probably leave more than a dent. Alarms go off and heavy metal doors start to cloose. So instinctively you jump, trip over a loose wire and fall, rolling under the metal door seconds before it slams shut. But not completly, you feel a jolt of pain coming from your left foot, and when you look at it you see it's simply gone, neatly cut off by the blast door.

( Well that was bad luck, first failing the sprint roll, then the jump roll and then the armor  saving roll. Medbay can probably do something for you.)

Raelin Tal'dir
Location: Near Airlock A-6(+1 Attack/ defense bonus)

You expertly remove the bullet from the rifle, and quickly return it to working condition. The captain seems to be running towards you quite fast, so you decide to follow his orders and get the enemies to surrender.

You then proceed to give a quite good speach. The answer of the boarders is short but informative.
"Well tried, Pirate scum, but we know you don't have a teleportation device on that ship of yours."
It seems like they managed to acces the ships plans. What else could they have found.

You then hear a loud explosion, followed by the captain landing next to you. He seems to be missing his foot, you should probably do something about that.

Jack Dendy
Location: Aft section

You activate the vents, attempting to punt the explosive out of the airlock. The attempt would have been succesfull, but one of the detonators wires clipped behind the foot of the disembodied boarder and got pulled loose, causing the bomb to go off. The explosion is powerfull [7-2(distance from airlock)] and immediatly knocks out the hull cameras. Other sensors indicate that the airlock has been compromised and that there's minor hull damage.

Arrod Werin
Location: Front section(+1 attack bonus to defender/ +1 armor bonus to defender)

You run towards the airlock A6. Since the elevators have been locked down you take the maintenance shafts, and after a short treck through various dangerous looking pieces of equipment you end up near the Captain, who's currently on the ground minus one foot.

You try to patch up the bleeding enemies you find out that your medical knowledge has gone a bit rusty. Some experimentation and 3 fatalities later you think you've got the hang of it.

Rezavres stood up back again and hit the tip of his sword against the floor, using it as a walking cane.
"Helmswoman, I assume you have already seen blood in your life and that you know how to deal with it."

He sharply goes back to the engineering team channel.
"Engineer, initiate the damage control procedures. Attempt to startup any of the ship systems to pressurize that hall again. Cut their escape route from the other side and allow them to only follow us after we have backed down further and prepared an ambush. I want them coming straight at me. I am a man that keeps his promises, after all.
Also, I want a radar reading on the outside of the ship. I want to check and see if the boarders have been hoisted with their own petard."

Rezavres allows Raelin to treat his foot and moves to the next set of blast doors, waiting in ambush.

 :-\

Raelin was disappointed at her try, but at least she received information in return.

Curses, they had a blackcoat.

She shifted frequencies to the Marine Captain and the Engineering Bay, knowing that her Commander could hear her all well, surely her personal visor wasn't compromised. "We have a turncoat in our ranks, the enemy knew of our weaponry. That, or they had a smart guess on what we had.

Also, we probably need support Sai, on Commander's order."
She glanced at Rezavres before switching only to the Marine Captain, adding in, "and we really need your skills here, ma'am. The best in this situation."

She then shifted to 'all channels' before scanning for enemies and probable entry points.

"Commander, get behind here!"

Then she deploys that field hospital and begins treatment.

Goodness knows the power of the Moonwolf.

Rezavres watched Raelin behind his mask.
"By the way, young lady, we shall have a short conversation about your attempt at impersonating the enemy captain instead of just transmitting my message as ordered.
Do you realize that not following my orders in critical situations and trying to do what you think is right, outright ignoring what I said in favor of your own concept of what should be done may endanger all the ship's crew?"
