The GTX 560's thermal limit (when it automatically shuts off to prevent damage) is apparently 106°C.

Its okay all aperture science peripheral equipment is designed to be safe up to 40,000 degrees Kelvin.

I was having heat problems so I decided to buy an Antec Cooling System. Worst choice ever.

The fans won't spin. They'll twitch and die, resulting in my computer shutting down due to the fan not being on.

We double checked all the power wires, they work.

Manual says too. Nowhere else to plug it up either.
Plugging it up there makes it start to spin for several seconds before stopping instead of twitching.

Sounds like not enough power for it. Those things usually want in excess of 700 watts of available power. Further convincing me that most high-end cooling solutions are a waste of money for most.

Rig it up to accept power from a wall outlet, then you'll have the coolest computer in all the worlds.

Got a 1000 watt power supply. Power's hopefully not the issue.

It spins then stops. Am I connecting it to the wrong place? Does my board not support it? Why is this not working?

5 pin(one pin is empty) USB connector. USB3 port.
3 pin power supply. CPU Fan pin.
Unless that's not what you want.

It looks like a 4-pin fan connector to me. One of the connections only has two wires though, is that right?

EDIT: Are you using some kind of adapter on the fans of that thing to connect them to one fan socket? Are you supposed to?

It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

The pump and the two fans run on one CPU Fan port. I'll switch the ports for the USB, but it should run without it.

The USB ports in question.
