"Grah! I'm tired of not doing anything substantial!"

Fire all (ranged) weapons at the second to the leftmost drone!

Then boost NE to maximum movement capacity!

//I only now noticed that I was using wrong Hit chance for drones against Dylan. 60-25 is 35 :P In previous turns there was one hit that managed to hit whilst at 'wrong hit chance', so Dylan's shields and hull were restored by 30 and 31 points respectively this turn. Also forgot that Vetan launcher uses 2 ammo per shot, so fix'd amount this turn as well. Sorreh D:!

Mission 1, Turn 4

Quote from: Initiative
Erava: 4 + 3 = 7

Erava moves closer and there goes a bolt of laser energy, straight toward Drone III.

(70+10-20=60>37, hit! Dmg: 76 -> 38 shields, hull)

And hits it rather hard.

Quote from: Initiative
Dylan: 2 + 4.5 = 6.5

Thrust of the mighty lance...

(50+10-20=40<44, miss!)

Failed! What about missiles then?

(90+20-20=90>63, hit! Dmg: 20+43=63, shields)

Their homing devices haven't failed again.

Quote from: Initiative
ViperDrone1: 6 + 0.5 = 6.5

One of the drones takes another shot at Dylan's suit.

(60-15=35>18, hit! Dmg: 34+20=54 -> 27 shields, hull)

His suit shook from the blast.

Quote from: Initiative
Kira: 3 + 1.5 = 4.5

At this range, only the missile launcher had a lock on the choosen enemy. A rocket flew toward it...

(40+10-20=30>7, Hit! Dmg: 51, shields)

The missile barely touched the shield layer and exploded, harming the drone. Before the fire cloud dissipated, Kira already boosted closer to Dylan.

Quote from: Initiative
ViperDrone3: 4 + 0.5 = 4.5
ViperDrone4: 4 + 0.5 = 4.5

Another two drones pew pew'd at Dylan.

(60-25=35<68, miss!)
(60-25=35<45, miss!)

And both missed!

Quote from: Initiative
Tsuchi: 1 + 3 = 4

//I was wondering - Tsuchi wanted to shoot while boosting, before, or after it? I've decided to get with 'after' version, but please state your actions more... clearly? This applies to not only Tsuchi - shooting at 'unlabeled' drone will result in firing at the 'closest' drone possible (as in, in straight line from your suit).

As he moved toward the drones, he shot at the drone in his field of view (IV). With laser rifle! With pack of mini-rockets!

(70+5-20=55>49, hit! Dmg: 80 -> 40 shields, hull) //Rifle
(30-20=10<14, miss!) //Scatterer

The laser bolt struck, but the drone managed to evade the missile cluster.

Quote from: Initiative
Harpe: Harpe: 1 + 3 = 4

Harpe moved to his left and then shot with everything!!!

"No target lock acquired." Computer responded in it's usual, cold voice.

Quote from: Initiative
ViperDrone2: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
ViperDrone5: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5

Another two drones shot at guess who? Dylan, of course. It looks as if the drones aren't very bright with their programming.

(60-25=35>18, hit! Dmg: 39+32=71 -> 36 shields, 35 hull)
(60-25=35<96, miss!)

Only one of them managed find it's mark.

(end of turn, shields' regen!)

Attempt to impale the drone in front of me with my slug rifle (VI), whilst firing with said rifle, firing missiles at Drone V at extremely close range.

Tsuchi attempts to stay in his own grid spot, but if the gods of gaming allow it, I want to be THROWING these drones out of my way. Destroying them first works though.

Tsuchi re-engages his communications antenna. His rage has dissipated.

"Come on, let's just finish these guys. Next wave'll be easy if we defeat these buggers before they get here."

Oh. If range prevents any of that...
Tsuchigumo disengages the laser rifle and uses the free hand to punch the Drone IV! The rifle floats away...

Fire all weapons in range of the VDF III!

Kira tried to recall if the Devastator had any collateral damage effect, there was one way to find out though, and in the span of seconds, she couldn't radio everyone else.

Mission 1, Turn 5 (Diceroller Rebels Against GM)

Quote from: Initiative
Erava: 5 + 3 = 8

Another blast of laser shot at the drone.

(70+10-20=60<78, miss!)

The machine managed to evade the laser.

Quote from: Initiative
Kira: 5 + 1.5 = 6.5

A metal slug was launched toward the enemy, and with a second delay, Devastator missile followed.

(70+20-20=70>26, hit! Dmg: 50, shields) //Slug rifle
(40+10-20=30<62, miss!) //Devastator

The missile again missed it's mark. Someone has to work at targeting...

Quote from: Initiative
ViperDrone1: 6 + 0.5 = 6.5
ViperDrone5: 6 + 0.5 = 6.5

The outermost drones launched a synchronized barrage of laser bolts at Dylan.

(60-25=35<70, miss!)
(60-25=35<52, miss!)

And he gracefully evaded both.

Quote from: Initiative
Harpe: 3 + 3 = 6

This time, the computer found a target and the laser rifle took a shot at Drone V.

(70+10-20=60>41, hit! Dmg: 67 -> 34 shields, 33 hull)

And it hit!

Quote from: Initiative
Tsuchi: 2 + 3 = 5

Laser rifle and scatterers it is then.

(70+5-20=55>18, hit! Dmg: 61 -> 31 shields, 30 hull) //rifle at Drone IV
(30-20=10>1, hit! (say what?) Dmg: 13+25+20+11+17+29=105 shields) //scatterers at Drone V

Both weapons found their targets! The drones, however, managed to stay in place.
Also Tsuchi just now noticed that the 'disengage weapon' button on his console is, strangely, not lit - meaning this option is not available at the moment.

Quote from: Initiative
Dylan: 1 + 4.5 = 5.5

Skewering!

(50+10-20=40>16, hit! Dmg: 49, hull)

The lance managed to hit the drone, but only slightly damaging it. And then, homing missiles were launched at other drone.

(90+20-20=90>43, hit! Dmg: 30+17=47 shields)

The protective bubble aroudn the drone began flickering, announcing it close to collapse.

Quote from: Initiative
ViperDrone2: 4 + 0.5 = 4.5
ViperDrone3: 4 + 0.5 = 4.5
ViperDrone4: 4 + 0.5 = 4.5

For this, a triple barrage of dual laser bolts was directed at Dylan's suit.

(60-25=35>27, hit! Dmg: 21+38=59 -> 30 shields, 29 hull)
(60-25=35>19, hit! Dmg: 29+33=62 -> 31 shields, hull)
(60-25=35<75, miss!)

This time Dylan didn't managed to evade most of them.

"Warning. Severe damage to the outer titanium plating layers has been registered." As the announcement was spoken through the speakers, several yellow lights at Dylan's console began blinking in alarm.

(end of turn and shield regen)

//The diceroller is against me, it seems. And the scatterer hit was just... IMPOSSIBRU >:I

Kira checked her weapons HUD, ten more shots left and she wasted four on drones. It was time to get personal.

Boost 1 square NW, apply Polarized Titanium Blade to VDF I and accompany it with a point blank Missile shot.

There would be bigger fish to fry, anyway.

You can use either main weapon or side weapon in a turn, along with missile launcher and useable utility (if your suit have any).

Name: Stargazer-I
-Main Weapon:
--Heavy Slug Rifle [A: 20/20]
-Side weapon:
--Polarized Titanium Blade [A: -/-]
--Slot Empty
-Missile launcher:
--Devastator [A: 15/15]
-Utilities:
--Wingman Suit Docking Slot [Allows Wingman docking]
If I am reading correctly then rifle and knife is the one thing that you cannot do.
