yeah! we're doing great. even our insider competitor, MarcAFK, had to buy car from us!

the next batch of car will have a price so low, we're going to drive everyone out of the business!

we need to slow down stores expansion, we're closing to the point that for each dollar spent in maintenance we don't get a dollar in sales return; we should let the factory side to build up production and then resume the store expansion when unit prices are lower and we can make it up in volumes; otherwise maintenance costs will drive us down (the today revenue is inflated by b2b sales, without that, we would have close even)

You sure about that? We only spent like $3M on maintenance yesterday and sold $300M from the stores.

Pretty much. Maintenance is exponential while sales are logarithmic (because of soft ceiling in market size), if you remove te b2b gains from the final net gains there is no much margin left.

We need to reduce unit costs and get a larger market share, our next growth phase shoud be in that direction

I am no longer the CEO of Auto-Union Inc.

Can you put the position up again so I can re-apply?

Did we hire anyone new recently? or did someone derp and buy stuff while switched to the wrong company?

I almost did that before, luckily the browser crashed when I realized it.

But I don't have any other companies anymore, so it wasn't me :P

Some math.

We have those 20k car.

We can sell 22 of them per tick at 40k, or 8 per tick at 60k

That means 880k/tick at 2x, or 320k/tick at 3x

Seriously, 2x is the way to go

FYI, I've updated the bot code to handle the fractional quality changes from last night.

Acknowledged. I've changed our pricing strategy to sell at the higher of either 2x cost or 2x Q-adjusted value. That should get us down to your 40k number for the cars we produce for 20k cost as long as car Q is 37 or under. If we don't want to look at Q-adjusted value at all, let me know and I can just drop that multiplier to 0 which means we'll only go off cost.

*sigh*

Looks like my alt account that runs the restocking bot is in jail for life as of a couple hours ago. I'm writing RJ to try to find out why.

EDIT: Ok, it's out of jail now. No word from RJ yet.

yeah I saw it stopped working and did an "emergency restock"  :P

the pricing bot's most useful as right now this messy update doesn't track price changes in stores
