Would there be any way for an IPO to be issued that gives each employee say 5% of the company?

I'm fine with turning a profit on the current shortages. Remember to keep prices within reason.

Because I know reason is a not a good unit of measure around here, I put as an hard limit here 4x of wholesale value, just to be sure. (restriction valid only until scott fix the issues with goons)

Prices should stablise soonish, but those goon companies might have been supplying the b2b so i'm sure there'll be shortages of some stuff, therefore prices may be higher for a while.

Production. I'll take a position without bonus for this term-let the money go to expansion...

Ok, here is what I tought would be interesting as our next goal: turns 1000 car body in complete cars using cheap import parts, using the scale to drive the price down

We'll need to purchase in one go 1000 body, 4000 tyres, 4000 sears and 30000 steel for the engines that couldn't be imported.

At current import prices it adds up as:
(300 * 30 000) + (4 000 * 500) + (4 000 * 2 000) + (50 000 * 1 000) = 69 000 000 $

not that far to be unreachable but requires a bit of commitment. We'll flood the marked for fun and profit... Because the next step I've in mind is even more wild...

FYI, I saw that we sold a ton of car bodies for really cheap in the last 12 hours and it looks like our pricing strategy needed a little adjustment so we don't burn through all our in-house produced goods too quickly.

Previously, retail pricing was set to the greater of 2x cost or 4x Q-adjusted value. I've tweaked it to 8x Q-adjusted value which should reduce the burn rate on stuff we make in-house and hopefully give the production folks time from when it rolls off the line to actually get it made into more finished products.

EDIT: As an example, a Q0 car body at 8x Q-adjusted value means we'll be selling them for $52k. That still might be a little low but at least we won't be selling 60 (!) of them a tick like we were earlier today. I can definitely jack up the multiplier if we still think it's too low.

In other news, our store building strategy seems to be paying off since we are making a shitload of money. I've re-enabled spending of 10% of our retail net profits on marketing to ensure we are keeping our new stores advertised optimally.

hey, it's no use to queue up 168 hours on the mines.

Again: to whiever queied 168 hours worth of circuitry: it's no use and just use up the factory space for no real gain, with a very real loss in flexibility.

The economy of scale factor only gies so far. When the batched items are at half the unitary cost you gain absolutely nothing from larger batches.
