Why is everyone so fascinated with trying to hit me mid fall? I'll be on the ground next round anyways...

E: Character Sheet is half finished:

All I did was say how one could escape the fall. Honestly, if I had to to kill you, I'd probably use quickened hideous laughter just as you were about to touch the floor.

Hideous Laughter has lower range and save than Hold Person.
The reason I want to figure out how to kill you midair is because I'm going to use a level 11 bard (a very mess-your-stuff-up-y class) and both surviving an uber attack and taking out an enemy easily would be pretty sweet. But I'm not really fascinated- I've been taking other actions, like finishing my homework and working on my bard spell list, although I have been sitting down...

You forgot a detail; quickening Hold Person is harder than quickening Hideous Laughter. The first would require a 7th level slot, whereas the later only needs a 6th level one.

Ooohhhhh. Didn't realize that.
Anyway, here's my sheet.

I'm going to definitely RP him pretty hard, and I even plan to use these characters I've put in Friends and Enemies later...

Made a few changes to my warlock, namely changing his flaw to inattentive and dropping my spider climb invocation for eldritch glaive from the Dragon Magic supplement, is this ok Skyrunner?

Skyrunner, if I take the Leadership, will I be allowed a cohort?

Is this actually a campaign, or just a bunch of player characters fighting to the death?

As far as I can tell, it's going to be the former, where the players are one side in a Red vs. Blue arena fight for the amusement of laughing gods. There's no reason why it couldn't degenerate into the latter, though.

Indeed it feels like this, and I would enjoy a lot if it would develop in time to be the latter. Would love to RP that.

This morning I found myself looking at the numberplates of the cars on my drive in to work and seeing them as tileset characters in ASCII... a silver Renault I was behind had an interesting scene of a Human wrestling a Minotaur near a bin.

Feels like everyone is done except Azthor (PS. don't let him take leadership  ;D). I'm sorry but I might not be active on the forums a while since the celebration of Labor Day starts a bit early this year in my country.

I never let any of my players take Leadership.

Feel free to take Leadership, but you ain't getting a cohort. :3

Yeah... Leadership is pure core D&D cheese. You can use it to get a skill monkey while you focus on something else, or you can use them as an experience pool and have them craft magic items. Use it to get a swordsage for the Island of Blades stance (easy sneak attack)... The list goes on. I'm surprised that the Wizards didn't just remove it when they made 3.5.

I had something far viler in mind :P

Well, leadership has another use involving lower-level companions; how about followers?
