Arena : Paradise

You die a heroic (or not) death. Your last thought is that you shall go to a good place, perhaps Celestia or Bytopia, or maybe the Outlands if you were neutral.

...What you did not expect was to wake up, gazing at the fearful visage of an one-eyed orc, holding a spear and savagely grinning at you.

Ah, I see you have arrived, mortal, it booms, -now, the fun can finally begin!

You inquire whether the management of Celestia has changed since you last went there.

No, no, see, you've been intercepted from you rightful destiny by me and a couple other gods' actions! Being in a chaotic evil plane isn't fun, you know! I and Erythnul thought this up. Catch some heroic souls and place them in a fight to the death in a big arena! Of course, since you've died already once, if you die again, you'll probably dissolve into nothingness and melt into the plane. Well, good luck: if you entertain us enough, we'll let you continue on to your rightful destiny, hehehe. Your gear is still intact, because I recreated it. Gotta give y'all a fighting chance, right?
You notice that your gear is intact.

Anyways, you have a couple of friends, so be nice, will ya'?

It dismisses you, and you are teleported to elsewhere...

Quote from: Rules and restrictions
No psionics
One player may be a level 15 pure fighter/fighter-like class.
Others may be a level 11 character (no other restrictions).
It is preferable to avoid wizards and druids.
Massive damage deaths houseruled out.
Death effects are houseruled as 'HP set to -1 & stable'
Preferable to avoid cheesy builds >.>
1 flaw.
The following books are fully allowed:
  Core
  Spell Comp.
  Libris Mortis
  Tome of Battle
  Complete Mage/Divine/Warrior/Arcane
  Draconomicon
  Book of Exalted Deeds/Vile Evil
  Races of Stone
  Magic Item Comp.
Other books on request.

This is a play-by-post forum game.

A couple rules :

(1) Have an actual character sheet
(2) When you do an action, always provide your bonus so that I can roll it for you.
EX : If you are attacking, always declare 'I have a +11/+6/+1 bonus to attack, and deal 2d6+12 damage'.
(3) Ranged weapons now add their Dexterity to damage rolls. Meaning composite bows can add both Dex and Str to damage.

I expect 1 person to be a 15th level melee (w/o Su or Sp abilities), with no more than 2 classes (including Prestige), and about three or four others to be a 11th level anyclass.

Sign up by posting a link to your character sheet (use Mythweavers) or reserving a spot.

I'm reserving a spot, namely a level 11 any-character spot. Changed my mind from being a barbarian.

Also, what does "1 flaw" mean?

Reserving a spot for a 11th level blood magus.

One flaw means that you take one flaw from unearthed arcana- it should be on the SRD.

EDIT: Do we have a starting gold amount, or are we starting with no gear? Also, are we doing point buy?

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

I'm interested in this, but first I have some questions (not meaning to be offensive)

I expect 1 person to be a 15th level melee (w/o Su or Sp abilities), with no more than 2 classes (including Prestige)
So no monk or ranger, if so this character will be barbarian, fighter, swashbuckler or samurai?

It is preferable to avoid wizards and druids.
Sorcerers and Wildshape Rangers are still ok?

Complete Mage/Divine/Warrior/Arcane
Why no Adventurer?

Skyrunner- I know I decided on Blood Magus, but I just wanted to know your opinion on the concept for this campaign.

EDIT: He's Cleric 1 (Magic/Law- Wee Jas), Wizard 6, and Blood Magus 4.

66000 gp is the WBL of an 11th level character.

@Jack - I merely forgot Adventurer o_o

Sorcerers are fine, I suppose, and clerics ok.

Really, though, you could be a druid or wizard if you want, but just don't abuse stuff >.>

Okay, I'll give it a try if you aren't in a hurry to start, got some work to do, so might have character done at Tuesday earliest. Also request for PHP 2, if possible, might want to build a knight as the 15 lvl character if no one takes it.

Character Concept: Lawful Evil assassin (rogue 5/assassin 6), formerly devoted to the Lords of Baator on the promise that if he killed enough people in life for them, he would be rewarded with a harem of 68 virgin erinyes in the afterlife. Now seeks revenge and/or to gatecrash his way into a better afterlife.

I shall do a Bard 11.
*stares at everyone waiting for them to just tell him he's being dumb, daring them.*
Doing sheet.

Edit:
How do I calculate point buy?

Thanks. At this point I only needed it to confirm my abilities because I'd found an explanation, but it helped anyway.
