Fighter bonus feats can be a good thing. If you want a TWF AoO abuse build you'd want lots of feats, because there are 2 feats (with a useless prereq.) that increase your reach by 5'. If you're a human fighter with a flaw you'd have 4 feats to start and you could increase your reach by 5', take TWF at level 2, and improve your reach again at level 2. From there you can focus on having the biggest hammers (Lighten Weapon) possible as light weapons while burning feats like no one's business. It's funny to think of a character swinging massive hammers at you from 15' away and still hitting you. It's also a possible build that wouldn't be half bad.

To say the least there is a lot you can do with feat heavy characters if you know what you're looking for.

I should probably get writing on who my character is rather than discuss character builds. Would be nice to know who my character is when I RP. :P

Aye, feats are powerful indeed but the fighter bonus feat list isn't that massive at least in core, don't know that much about books that give more fighter bonus feats.

This morning I found myself looking at the numberplates of the cars on my drive in to work and seeing them as tileset characters in ASCII... a silver Renault I was behind had an interesting scene of a Human wrestling a Minotaur near a bin.

Here's the sheet: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=393183

I'm pretty much only missing back story, personality, description, etc. Let me know if you spot any mistakes, and could somebody please make sure I did the skills right? I have trouble keeping track of the points.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

Additional question to Skyrunner: Are players allowed to buy one the flying mounts that are listed as being for sale in the Monster Manual? ie. Hippogriff, Griffon, Spider Eater, Giant Eagle, Giant Owl, Pegasus, Howler and anything that I missed.

My character concept has evolved from "Assassin for Hell" to "Hell Assassin That Leaps From Flying Steed to Air-Drop Directly Onto Enemy's Face with a Dire Flail"

I even learned featherfall and everything.

This should be fun. I assume you have TWF?

Sure.

Don't look at me when it is enervated out of the sky or something.

   ...not that I'd do that. <.< >.>

Air drop heights are a minimum of 750 feet if I want 3 rounds of falling to prep death attack before impact, well out of range of just about everything. Mount's safe.

I know of no effect that causes fascination at that distance, nor am I worried about fascination regardless: Any obvious threats (presumably smashing into the ground qualifies here) automatically breaks the effect.

Hrmm.
...I'll hope I can use my level 11 to reach you with my various effects with range. At the last round you should be 250 feet in the air right?
...I'MA JUST BARD ALONG AND TRY TO SURVIIIIVE

Wait- how do you intend to survive impact without removing your advantage? Feather fall would make you targetable mid-air...

Featherfall is unique in that it's castable as a free action off turn. So, while I could cast it and then jump (thereby falling a mere 60' per round) I'm not going to. Instead, I'm going to cast it just before impact, thereby getting the full speed benefit of a normal fall without the splat at the end.

So I suppose the only option would be to run away really fast then.
Edit: Urrrrrrgh! If I were level 15, I could Hold Person you in midair.

Enervable mounts are for non-1st Tier classes; overland flight/raise dead/teleport.

Doomblade, you can either teleport midair, have an incredibly high tumble, in which case the Epic Handbook outright states you are immune to fall damage, or cast a spell which allows flight. While far fetched, it is also possible to plane shift to escape the impact. If you are downright nuts, creating and escaping into a demiplane midair is possible, as is creating an whole new species and mounting it.
