Saturday is on its way out, so I figured that I would go hunting for a status update.

Let's get this started! :-D
I'll skip the map for now.

First Impressions

((Because I can't really tell, ALWAYS post your sheet. Even then.))

You black out again, and wake; this time, it is in a wide, circular field. There is a single hill in the middle, about thirty feet high and rather steep. A single red cloth flag hangs on a tall mythril pole.
Each person stands at one of 3,1,11,9,7,4 o'clock (specify your position). The orc god's voice booms out over the field like an omnipresent announcer of sorts.

"The first game is King of the Hill! Whoever keeps the hill for the longest time wins, and receives a small boon to help in the next round! A very straightforward rule, it is. On the sound of the dying fairy, let the games begin!"

Shortly after that, a horrible screech echoes across the field; a macabre start to a less than desirable (to the contestants) tournament.

<< Post your initiative scores, also. The +0,+4,+8 things.>>

Nestren Dustril, Blood Magus

"Well, then, I guess it's time to begin. A pity about the fairy, though," Nestren muttered under his breath as he surveyed the field from the 11 o'clock position. Casting Stoneskin on himself, he moved quickly towards the hill.

Initiative Modifier: +3

Character sheet: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=393183

((Just casting stoneskin and a normal move towards the hill...))

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

List actions right now. We're going the 2e way :P

Like, the people declare what they're going to do, and then actions are resolved by initiative order.

Sheet is here.

Hans stands at 9 o'clock with an initiative of +3.

Hm.. Best not rush straight up to the hill like an idiot. Let's take the stealthy approach...

Hans throws a pebble up the hill to distract everyone while he hides behind a nearby bush.

Bluff +16, Hide +11.

Spoiler: notes (click to show/hide)

"I don't know what this place is or why I am here. With no helpers I need to be careful."
"If only I could know if I succeeded."

Oooops, forgot, I guess I am in the 4'o'clock position...

Beargutter!? (Still an awesome name)

Beargutter finds himself standing on 3 o'clock looking rather confused at the situation, but none the less still ready. +3 Initiative

He rushes forwards expecting to see mounds of fiends, devils, and demons awaiting him at the top. He lets loose a cry. "For Gwynharwyf!"

Move Action x2: Run to the center.
Free Action: Draw double spear.

Feat: Quick Draw

Ramiel awoke with a groan. He looked around, and soon enough, the place turned out to be pretty macabre. Figuring it would be stupid to get himself killed and not exactly knowing why he should go up the hill and to his death in the first place, and with a distinctly displeased look on his face, Ramiel backed away and cast inviisbility, quickly drawing his bow and warily circling the area.
(Free action draw bow, cast invisibility, and move in a circle around the hill-ish manner.)

Assuming our starting coordinates are right on top of a circumference, what is the distance between said circumference and the flag?

Initiative: +5

Deciding that caution was more prudent, Aloth uses one of his little tricks to blend into the shadows, and then moves from his 12 0'clock position, going anti clockwise around the hill to better observe what is happening.

((Standard action: Invoke Walk Unseen, Move action: walk anti clockwise round hill))

Turn 1
Quote from: Init
Aloth (da dwarf lord) [19 + 5] = 24
Beargutter (Fool) [18 + 3] = 21
Nestren Dustril (Doomblade) [16 + 3] = 19
Ramiel (Powder Miner) [15 + 3] = 18
Roland (JackOfTheBox) [13 + 3] = 16
Tashy Fiendrender (RAM) [13 - 1] = 12
Hans (Grek) [3+3] = 6

Aloth<invisible>
Aloth moves counter to the clock around the hill, sneaking thirty feet and ending up at -17.3 degrees from 12 o'clock, one hundred feet away from the hill.

Beargutter
Beargutter stands at 3 o'clock, or +90 degrees from 12 o'clock, and at one hundred feet.
He rushes forward ((You should post your sheet always. I have to search for it otherwise D:)) 80 feet and ends up at position (+90,20ft).

Nestren Dustril
Nestren casts Stoneskin and moves 40 ft toward the flag and the hill. He ends up at (-30,60 ft).
<stoneskin 100/100>

Ramiel<invisibles>
Ramiel casts Invisibility before drawing his bow and heading ... clockwise. Moving 30ft, he ends up at ... (rollroll) 4 o'clock plus 17.3 degrees, which is (137.3,70ft).

Roland
Roland moves twice towards the hill and ends up at (-150,40 ft). He also draws his sword and animates his shield.

(What does animating your shield do?)

Tashy
Tashy casts Conviction and stays at 4 o'clock.

Position (120,100ft)

Hans
[12+11] = 23 Hide.

The pebble falls short of its target. You hide, flattening yourself in the waving grasses that constitute the ground cover in the surrounding areas.
