Clearly the Ocelot cannot bear the existence of a superior species, proven by it's hesitance towards snakes!

Hogwash. The Ocelot cannot afford to be bothered by snakes and their pessimistic ways, for its time is far too valuable.

Can't find any...

But:

Footage of a kakapo named Sirocco attempting to mate with Cawardine's head was viewed by millions worldwide, leading to Sirocco becoming "spokesbird" for New Zealand wildlife conservation in 2010, as part of the International Year of Biodiversity.

Also:
One of the most striking characteristics of the Kakapo is its pleasant and powerful odour, which has been described as musty.

Young birds indulge in play fighting and one bird will often lock the neck of another under its chin. The Kakapo is curious by nature and has been known to interact with humans. Conservation staff and volunteers have engaged extensively with some Kakapo, which have distinct personalities.

A list of all named kakapoes.

Every kakapo in existence, with the exception of a few chicks, have names.

The oldest known kakapo, Richard Henry, died in 2005 aged EIGHTY.
Richard Henry last became a father in 1998 to Kuia, aged 73.

Sirocco. Hilarious guy, this one.

Alpaca/Llama. They give you all kinds of stuff and their butchering isn't half bad.

That's why I once gave them a spitting attack that would cause paralysis. Defense Llamas! Go!

Ocelets  :)

I like pigs for practical reasons. That way, instead of turning some potential cannon fodder animals into meat, I have a useless, non grazing meat producing animal that produces meat, sound delicious (mm, masterwork pig meat quarry bush roasts), and only require a 10*10 room for a large herd, while allowing me to concentrate my war animals' strength on enemies.

Probably Giant Mosquitoes. Imagine the horror of a bull-sized, bloodthirsty insect that sounds like a helicopter when it flies. Now imagine a pack of 4 setting after you!

That, or giant Earthworms. If I were a dwarf, I'd get the resident animal trainer to get me a pet giant Earthworm just so I could take it for walks down the mountain halls. Wouldn't really be out of place, actually!

What else?

Also, dogs. Instatly sociable and trainable, intelligent and, in a pinch, tasty.
(Note that IRL, eating "chopped dog liver" would cause vitamin A toxicity.)

For Spearbreakers, I bought a couple of black mambas from the pointy-ears... Wonder if those could be trained to bite goblins?  :-\
(Their venom causes full-body paralysis, which is pretty much a one-hit KO for any small or medium-sized living creature.)

As for utility, I guess a tame Giant cave spider would be awesome for silk production and eating any unwanted wildlife. Sheeps, OTOH is good eats (and "company" for, er, "lonely" farmers) >:D, milkable and shearable. The only thing not to like is their grazing requirement. Turkeys are a good choice for meat industry.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

My Giant Kakapo is better than your dragon.
Giant Kakapos are the best.  Giant keas are pretty cool too, though.
EDIT: oh, you meant playing in the snow, didn't you...

I'd give you a link to Sibfox, but it seems to be down.
So, how about a science article instead?
