Lichdom is a terrible idea anyways, you shouldn't actually do it.

For the Arena game, what's the basic premise? Is it a fighting tournament?

Evidently not.  It's apparently just a normal campaign, only we fight in an arena most of the time.

I'm intersted inplaying, especially for play-by-post. Doea anybody mind if I import Destival drom Shoruke's Western Marches? Future/alternate storylines are fun, and I want to see what dex bonus to attack and damage for spiked chain can do. (It's a swordsage feat)

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

Not quite. There is no overriding plot at this time, and there probably won't be one. Players can fight one another to try out character ideas whenever, and anyone can DM a session. If somebody wants to try out DMing a game with an actual plot, they can take on the role of some divine being sending a group of players on a short quest (or long quest, it's really up to the DM). Loot comes in the form of winnings from defeating other people in battles (unless they're on one of the aforementioned mini-quests, in which case it's loot as normal).

The background story is that dead heroes (or villains) fight in the arena to entertain deities and maybe win another chance at life, if one of the gods takes a liking to them.

By all means, import him!

If I were to join would we be on a team? I want to try out a bard prestige class if this is a play-by-post game, but that would be hilariously redundant if I was by myself. If we aren't I'll look into something else.

Oh, also is there any spots left?

I could add eleven levels to Destival for the lvl 15 melee... Be warned, though- he's made more as a support guy. I would actually suggest someone else take the lvl 15 slot. 11 is enough for me in this case.

I think I'll avoid that level 15 spot. I powergame way too much, even if I'm not trying to. I was the one that combined Easy Metamagic and Arcane Thesis to break the magic system in Sky's campaign. 180 damage is a lot for a level 5 spell. Then there was the dragonfire inspiration bard that added 4d6 to everyone's attack in Shoruke's campaign. It's a bad habit I have.

I think I'll try and figure out what I want to do with a level 11 melee character when it isn't 1 AM.

I concur, lichdom itself is never worth it... But demilichdom? Perfect automatic silent and still spell, blinding speed, tenacious spell, automatic quicken spell,  magic immunity, telekinesis at will, soul gems, undead immunities, d12, +10 to all mental stats, perfect flight, HitDice insight bonus to AC, DR 30/epic, acid/fire/sonic resistance 20, +20 racial bonus to hide, listen, move silently, search, sense motive, and spot checks  and receiving the benefit from items without needing to have them equiped.

You know, I have the DnD rulebook lying around somewhere but I never read it. I guess this is as a good excuse as any. Colour me interested.

Can I sign up for the Play-By-Post? I've been waiting for one to appear on Bay12 for ages :D. One thing is that my participation my be low at certain points in time as I'm in my last year of high school so study > DND.

I think I'll avoid that level 15 spot.

How can you powergame with a character that is banned from most Su, Sp abilities, and has to be a pure class (no multiclassing, except for maybe things like fighter 2->barb)...? o_o

Fighter is one of the weaker classes out there . . .

Lichdom is a terrible idea anyways, you shouldn't actually do it.

I concur, lichdom itself is never worth it... But demilichdom?

Do you know that demiliches have a '-' LA, meaning players can't be one? :P
Maybe not. But still, you must be level 21, and by that time those abilities aren't exactly the best...

Anyways, posting Arena right now.

Not exactly the best? With the LA buy off system it becomes a mere matter of time until the penalty is offset and, even if that is not availiable, there are several ways of covering for the lost levels, granted that Knowledge (arcana/religion/nature) and Spellcraft are the defining requisites for  epic spellcasting.
