Right now my server for the mod is down, mostly due to the fact that getting rid of hackers in nigh impossible (and they are crashing it every 10 minutes with invalid object IDs). I *could* host a standalone server, maybe. It all depends on if I can make a private hive, and if I can't make a private hive, what kind of rules are being placed on official hive servers. The server hardware could hold 80ish people, but my internet can be a butt sometimes, so depending on how much is being sent over my network, it could realistically hold 30 (tons being sent) to about 50 (very little being sent). If my dad wasn't hosting websites and mailservers, I could probably run at 80 people, but he is, so sadly I have to limit my traffic to the server. It also depends on if he ever flipping gives me access to put the server on it's own external IP and not in the network, because before I took it offline, the dayz mod server could only hold 25ish before my horribly optimized network would slow packets down to nothing and everyone would have a ping of 1000+ (including me... playing on lan).
EDIT: Actually just for grins I put it back up, until it crashes.
