And I wear my bandit skin with pride. Currently there's plenty of others that have it because of self defense though, so the game hasn't changed much.

I am really on the fence about killing others. I am for it, and I like the thought of not trusting anybody, but lately it has been seeming to be a dick move.

If anyone is interested in playing with me, get on team speak or DFC and give me a poke. I also go by Comp112 or Molotov Cocktease in DayZ, so you may see me around.

Ill just mention that currently, for whatever reason US 4 is running at daytime. I have no idea why.

That's fine. I hunt bandits. It's hard enough living with Zombies, humans must work together or get hunted.

So hemmingjay is a wannabe bounty hunter. I hope not. Not everyone with a bandit skin is a bandit currently. Check who you're shooting before you shoot. Some of those "Bandits" are friendly's that got into friendly fire accidents.

A hint though is someone with a scoped weapon is ever so slightly more likely to be a bandit, even if they're using a PMC skin. Those aren't great for zombies, but work great for killing players.

I am really on the fence about killing others. I am for it, and I like the thought of not trusting anybody, but lately it has been seeming to be a dick move.

It all depends how you do it. In my case I kill people with things I need, or if they're about to discover me. I don't go out of my way if it's not worth it despite my body saying "KILL HIM. KILL HIM" whenever I spot someone.

The CZ is pretty damn good for hiding out and pegging people, but horrible in towns. Used one in an emergency in a small town, ended up running away with about twenty following me.

Exactly.

Seeing someone walking about with a CZ rifle means that guy is not good to trust for the most part.

On the other hand, if you just spawned, and haven't found anything better, if nothing else the cz is good for a look around. I carried one around for a few hours climbing to the tops of buildings to scout ahead of me. Until I found an AK.

Yup.  Mediafire download site is still up, but they've got a notice saying to download from the main site now, so it may be out of date.

That was a huge plus to the CZ, the scope. Since binoculars are oddly rare, the CZ is a pretty good replacement for checking out an area before moving in.

Not sure what is going on, but when I log onto different servers, I am in different spots. Does each server now have it's own save data for your character?

There's no OFFICIAL groups in the game. All unofficial. If you wanna do that you'll have to just organize it elsewhere.

Stealth against zombies works fairly well, they sense mostly by sound, but have a certain radius where they'll just sniff you out, back turned or not. They CAN see, but not well in the slightest, at night zombies are almost a non issue if you know what you're doing and can pick them out.

Also keep in mind that some servers have cross-hairs, some don't. The ones that do make identification easier since you get names on mouseover, but it makes sneaking and remaining unseen a good deal harder when people can sweep the horizon and find a name popup.

I know right now, US severs 1 and 2 use cross-hairs, 3 and 4 do not. The NY servers seem to use cross-hairs too, and I can't be sure about the Dallas server as I've never got in that one.

I was thinking something like a clear where players join themselves for barter and friendly chatters, not an official tagged group or something :D

Last I checked, they disabled names on mouseover, or is that still possible on crosshair servers? Or is it just a server option?

EDIT: If anyone wants to keep an eye out for me on the servers (same name) I'll generally be willing to team up if I'm anywhere nearby.

Mouseover names still work on servers with crosshairs, what was disabled was the command mode spacebar command. I know it worked on some guy named m88 before I gave him a 230 grain present in the small of the back.
