I wonder what image and voice folks have for me, considering my lack of a humanoid avatar.

That's easy, I imagine you as the stereotypical, red-skinned, horned & hooved devil. Your voice, on the other hand, sounds very harmless and all around friendly.

Everyone is their avatar, which makes Japa very confusing.

I may be straight(ish) and engaged, but I am totally gay for the alive-version of his avatar.  Like, ridiculously so.

at least, I think that avatar is a guy...

Everyone sounds like Morgan Freeman, and you all look like humanized versions of your avatars, however human they look, they are always more human in my head.

I've heard Duke's voice in TF2, it's so good.

Unless the avatar is an image of a character I recognize, or it is something that I cannot anthropomorphize, I attribute it to the poster. All people with pony avatars are ponies, Darvi is that person with the shifty eyes, Armok is a pair of red eyes and a mouth, Aqizzar as a big chin, Merchant of Menace is a white she-wolf, and freeformschooler has a stick body and a weird head. This is not an exhaustive list.

The little voice in my head that reads stuff sounds like me.

In my insecurity and egoism, I am much eager to know how I am perceived.

I've got ZChris' voice from his Livestream, and uh... that's the only one I remember right now.  I've heard a few others from TF2 and other livestreams but I've forgotten who has which.  Oh, and I guess I saw JSF's LP too.

Other than the standard stuff about avatars (anyone with an avatar that changes on a theme is a shapeshifter, incidentally) I'd also say that anyone without an avatar has a dark obscured face.  Like in a detective show when they're trying to hide who the culprit is.

Hmm. Cant decide if being seen as Bill Cosby is a good thing, a bad thing, or a great thing.

Actually, you're the exception for me. I just see you as hilarity incarnate since the first time I saw your avatar I paused for about three seconds before uncontrollable laughter brought me to tears.

I'll admit, the only person who has a significantly different mental voice for me is Aqizzar, who even before I heard him talk I sorta pictured this gruff but eloquent Texan. Spot on, by the way.

Everyone else, I mostly see as their avatar but the voices don''t differ too much.

I have different mental voices for people, but I can't really describe them.
