Nev, you can try again but the DR will go up. Its a pretty safe bet that any failurewillresult in the DR increasing.

Also, how does one discover new possible base locations?

Well yeah either one ofthose could work IronyOwl.

As far as new base locations go, you essentially just talk to me in pm about what you want, and then we can move you over there. It takes some time to move everything, so it might not be the greatest idea right now, when your base locations arent known, and you arent really under any great pressure.

Or maybe those are perfect reasons to move, I unno.

You know I think I have forgotten to define what traits the research is going to... Doh...

Exactly right Ebbor. I have a grab bag of cool things. And declaring focus gives a stronger weight to anything classified in that area. sure you might still get laser rifles, if you're researching defensive. But odds are higher you'd get something outright defensive.Like ESD's, Void Shields, Portable Cover, RIGs, the Exosuit, so on so on. Its not so much trees, as there are many applications of science. If I understand enough about metalworking to build tools do I build swords, or do I build plows?

Nevyn your traits dont have text as to what they do because I seem to have edited it out to save character count for some reason.

Toaster, yes having 2 generators in your possession will increase the effect. Especially if you start to build base improvements that draw a lot of power (This is mostly the department of tech unlocks). I mean you would be easily thwarted if you had no generators and relied on a forcefield to hold back the FoJ while your doomsday device fires.
