Turn up. Next turns should be faster, as your energy economy is now functioning.

Also Caelleath, the Godsplitter is overheating, even with it's engines and jumpdrive offline. It's rather slow and the heatsinks can take it, but don't forget to tell me to switch things of when you're not fighting.

Damnit. I'll try to detach the external clamp and put some more liquid coolers there. The fusion generator was very low on heat production, I did not know so much heat would appear.

Is my power generator working at full capacity? I guess not, since it is producing 1600 and at full force it dishes out 1800.
Note: Not interested in making it work at 1800. No need for it.

Full force you fusion generator produces 2000 power (40*50)
Heat equals power used /2 + Reactor heat production.

Note that the overheating problem is fixed if you switch off missiles or pointdefenses. Also your ship produces just enough energy to drive all systems, but uses fuel as if it's producing 1600. No energy is wasted. All generators are online.

So I guess I'll turn those off while out of battle and discharge the heat contained within the heatsinks.

It'll go slowly, but it'll work.

Also, may you show the die rolls somewhere? I find their absence a tad confusing.

I might do some. Then again, suprise attacks get less suprising when you see you failed a spot check.

(Note: this example has ntohing to do with the current situation)

Quote from: Turn
Missile launcher: 50sizex3 (-150)
6xBarracuda Missiles
2xArmor Cracker Missiles
Shouldn't it have 10 Barracudas? Since we have four missiles in each launcher, I mean, which gives a total of 12 missiles.

I might do some. Then again, suprise attacks get less suprising when you see you failed a spot check.
How many actions were rolled on the first turn?

Dammit. My bad. I took the missiles to arm the bomber form the wrong spot. Fixing that.

2 (Loading the missiles and Socialising with the Achilles.(Tiruin rolled a one on that btw, which blew your cover immediatly).

Caelleath. There's no friction in space. As soon as you have done Arcelerating you don't need to run your engines anymore. (Besides your arceleration speeds are 12.3 and 7.5 respectively)

Also, offline engines are assumed to be idling and don't use power.

And third, the enemies bombers haven't been launched yet.

Yeah, I meant them to get the ship going to 40. Then turn off the engines. I forgot that detail.
Edit: I know our acc isn't enough to kick us into the desired speed in one turn, I just don't want to order them to keep accelerating during each turn.

Yup.

They can be launched soon and the Haymaker will probably find them midway towards the Godsplitter.

About fighter manoevres: Fighters can use the enemies shield to quickly shed velocity. This is a dangerous manoevre and will damage the fighters ship if done incorrectly.

Shield: A shield forms a Bubble around the ship. Fighters can fly inside it and launch missiles from there bypassing the shield. Any other ammunition that fails to pierce the shield.(Either through damaging it till it deactivates or by having shieldpiercing) will do no hull damage.

About crew teleporters: They exist, and work in a similiar way of teh jumpdrive. Since Jumpdrives will actively try to prevent things from jumping in near them(to prevent 2 ships from jumping on top of each other.), teleporters are often very large and energy hungry, in order to be able to suppress the enemies ship jumpdrive.

Jumpdrives: Allows jumping towards a beacon. Jumping whitout beacon is dangerous. A jump drive can safely idle at 50% charge, but any more might destabilize it resulting in an uncontrolled and/or partial jump.

Sector C 27: A sector consisting of nothing more than empty space and a single resupply station(Untill you blew it up). There aren't many ship that visit this station.

Galven V: The fifth planet in the Galven system. The only beacon in the system is located here. Galven V is a gas giant, and used to be one of the mayor fuel producers in the regio. Nowadays it's atmospheric stations are home to a thriving black market. Rumour goes that several pirate groups have bases here. Legal action here isn't likely, because the defence systems installed by it's previous owner are still online and functioning.

Are you running the turn already? I wanted to know just so I could decide on either sneaking in another piece of dialogue now or leaving it for the next turn.

Do I have to roll just to get permission to dock there? I want to loot some fighter shields (expensive equipment!) and sell it at a high price at the black market.
Also, due to the fact it is a Black Market their goods will probably be more expensive, will my trait allow me to cut better deals even with my low social skills? After all, a man who gets the Conglomerate/Trade Confederacy to build a custom ship for him and then slaps them across the face deserves some respect.

Nah, not really. Just don't screw up your social rolls repeatedly.
I'm waiting on Scellies action before running a turn.
Black market goods are more expensive, considerably more illegal.(And interesting). However, whitout any real contacts in the market, you won't really get any good prices for whatever you sell.

Your bonus allows you easier acces to the blackmarket. It's a reputation bonus, not a social bonus.(Though those often intermingle). It's best if you leave gaggling to Tiruin though.
