Yeah, but the mass only becomes a problem to the thrusting power of engines in conjunction with gravity [mass(kg)*gravity accel(m/sē)=Newtons], right?
The gravitational pull in N is which would cause an inverse strength, affecting the thrusters' capability to propel a vessel.

Sincerely I can't be too certain. I should have paid more attention to those physics class.

Nope, mass is also a problem when arcelerating: Can't remember the exact formula though.

Ah ok. I thought only the gravitational pull and the existence of matter (as in non-vacuum) could hinder acceleration. But I guess you are right, can't trust my mind anymore.

Reading all this talk of drifting has reminded me that using batteries over generators also has the advantage in fuel efficiency. I'd calculated them as less efficient past 10 turns of operation.

Which I guess makes the question "How valuable is fuel?"

Also, I'm now reminded that I might not actually need to power my engines very often except in combat. That's an interesting notion.

Sadly, still can't get a finished ship up yet. It's totally on its last design stages, but that still takes a fair amount of in-depth tweaking.

P.S.

If we find any debris field or anything that can give us an advantage, Raelin is pegging for that. Because my mind is swarming with general Physics. Space has no sound, velocity does not decrease...

Yay futuristic Aural-Mental connection and our thrusters located all around our ship!

Pretty cheap actually, but it depends on the type of fuel and where you buy it.

Also maybe a preliminary sheet. We don't want to have a fatal structural flaw.

Yeah. I put some haste in building my ship and now it produces too much heat. My missiles [could] also have benefitted from a thing or two.

You could submit a preliminary sheet and have the GM help you a little.

Clarifications about the current ship locations.
All ships are on the same line.
The Treasury is flying away from the C.I.C.
The Godsplitter is flying towards the C.I.C. ( That's what Tiruin action said me to do).
The C.I.C. is flying towards you.

It's possible to upgrade items for better efficiency. The Black market offers lots of upgrade, which generally are more potent. Black market items/modifications are also pricey and not always safe.
Common market also offer some items, but for the better one you need a good legisation.

Slow down our speed by at least half, I'll decide if we'll go on reverse or keep plunging towards them.

It's easier for more to calculate if you just go full stop and such. (Which you can defenitly do without problems.)
