While you attempt to get a vampire Assimilated, another vamp comes through the door and hurls a follower at you from the momentum of his spinning upon coming inside, knocking you away and breaking your concentration. You throw a bit of broken wall at him (really should fix this place up better, though the wood is useful) and stab him in the eye. He slinks away, and collapses some dozen or so feet from the door. You stab the other one as well and have him defenestrated.
