As much pain as he's in, he still manages to thank you for it, and then passes out posthaste. You hear an angry EMT bashing on the front door you'd locked, apparently someone nearby called an ambulance after all the screaming.

Fine, hide the ant corpse. The people will be on alert if they see their governor murdered by a ant! And after we make our inevitable escape make a fancy superhero outfit and combat these new threats while assimilating our little townspeople.

You carefully, and with some difficulty, manage to make the guy pass out without hurting him much more, and then Assimilate him and hop over the back fence, throwing a rock at the the door lock on your way away, and missing.You then hear the door crashing down.

After returning back to the base (as rather tiny and un-baselike as it is), you find the Indoctrinated bored, and attempting to catch what looks like a normal sized ant. Probably should have them do something before they start doing something less silly and more dangerous to the health of your ability to have a militia, like trying to catch a hornet. Also the injured scout returned from the hospital.

You collect some  more people, while the Police Chief wakes up and asks you to bring him a drink as well. You decline, since he said he was getting out in a day or two and being drunk won't speed that up any. You find someone unusual along the way though, and knock them unconscious. They're rather extremely pale, and were surrounded by not entirely unharmed people. Most of them seemed to be bleeding a tad.
