Or just load it to DFFD.
I HATE trying to use world gen to remake a place, it always comes out wrong.
I fyou (or the original person) are using modded RAWs (say, Fortress Defense, or the like) then you will not get the same values out of worldgen. Worldgen seeds only work with equivalent installs.

I've found that even with identical raws it doesn't usually work...

For example, while the map looks the same for me on the embark screen, the map has no magnetite at all.

I'm in the same boat.

DF without DT isn't DF, it's a keyboard-based exercise in masochism.

I know it says "[END_YEAR:1050]", but my worldgen stops at year 50. What is going on?

Are you using a large world?

No, I copied and pasted the worldgen stuff from the OP, didn't change a thing.

Usually if I set the history length to 1051+ and I pick anything small than a medium world, it just stops genning at 30-50

What OS are you on? I've found that while most of the time the world generated is exactly the same, the different OS's round some numbers slightly differently. If that number is then responsible for a world rejection you can rarely end up with worlds that are completely different depending on whether they were gened on a mac, windows, or linux.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Hey guys, glad you like it!

Ya, worldgen stops at 50, I think because of the megabeast 80% check. 1050 is just the Max setting if nothing kicks it.

Guessing the guy that ran it longer changed that setting. Vanilla DF, had Phoebus tileset on at the time, back to vanilla ASCII and it still gens the same. I'll stick the region up of DFFD for any who are having trouble.

More Intel, it took me 5 years and several million in wealth to get seiges. Also, when I used it as a 2x2 embark, to save fps to seige hfs... No access to hfs when the volcano is in the lower left. If you want hfs, you need at least 2x3 or 3x2.
