AoM is the AoE clone. If it wasnt abandoned, this could of easily beat out AoE in pretty much anything. It needs some more balancing and maybe a expansion pack to add another line of major gods/race, but other then that it outdoes AoE1/2 pretty much everywhere. It has better graphics, a better map/terrain system, a more interesting time period, more room for interesting units, better AI, its own multiplayer server and built-in client interface, and is made by the same kickass team, Ensemble Studios.

   Okay I just finished recording another video of AoM but the thing is that its as of now 50 minutes long because I dilly dallied about and then the first attack I did, did not have enough units to win so I had to build up twice. Do you guys want me to upload it as one 50 minute video or would you prefer something like 2 25min videos or maybe 20/30?

   Okay, unless 2 people decide they want it split I am going to go for the 50 minute video. I actually prefer it that way myself as its a single mission and I would prefer not breaking things like that up but I am not the one watching the videos so I thought I would ask.

I'd say just go with the 50 minute post. Unless it's something like three hours long or something, it shouldn't be too bad. I'll just watch it while I'm working on something in my other monitor.

   Uploaded another here. I am sorry to say the sound may be low in this one as when I recorded it I had my computers volume up to high and it created an awful echo so I had to turn the sound down because I was not able to remove it all with Audacity.

This thread inspired me to reinstall the game and actually try and beat the campaign. Most of my memories with the game are from playing CPU skirmish matches with my friend and cheat coding it to hell and back in the days of yore. I'm really liking it thus far. Nothing quite like massing a bunch of mid tier myth units and smashing through the foe. All around a good game. I really like the mishmash of mythologies in this one, usually it's either history or (clichéd to death) basic fantasy,

I understand this is a personal preference, but one thing that keeps bothering me when I watch your AoM videos is your lack of workers. I personally like to use 5-10 workers per resource to avoid running out of stuff. Well, you play how you like and I won't stop watching just because you don't go as economy heavy as I do. That's just something I've been meaning to post since your second AoM video. Oh, and you were wondering how to heal units in #3. I've now finished the Greek campaign and the only source of healing I remember was from temples, a specific god gives you the ability to heal units close to your temples. I too would like to know if there are other sources of healing for Greek players.

I believe that the god that gives healing to greeks is apollo. And I don't think there is another way to. I might be wrong, of course.

   Ah yes, thats what I was thinking about. As for the worker situation I had not played for a while so am not quite back into the game yet. I was never that good to begin with so I have quite a way to go to get better.
