Two blood-stained tentacles squirm out of the wound, and he stops squirming, instead standing on them limp. One of the recruits has become touched. One of the touched has become consumed. Not batting an eye at the horrific sight in front of you, you command the recruit and the touched to recruit people.
They come back with 13 people.

I likk the title in the post. It makes it look professional. Also have your people try to contact the Vampire. I'm sure we can work out an agreement, he just wants to suck a lot of blood, we want to call an Eldritch God. These goals are perfectly reconciallable.
