I think it would be difficult to convert him, probably easier to sacrifice him and get a nifty power from the Dark One.

After a week of determined searching, you find nothing about the vampire. The fellow pulled a disappearing act. How very annoying. The Dark One usually consumes souls when they are teleported to his realm. The newcomer doesn't seem to know any hunters. This is really annoying. It seems like something is preventing you from uncovering something... perhaps the vampire is covering his tracks?

Guys guns exist, chainmail is going to be uneffective. We should make things to sell to buy guns though. Pool the resources of our followers to setup a workshop to sell these "trinkets" Llamainaspitfire speaks of, and have the most devout work therin manufactoring them.

I didn't say it would stop everything, but I doubt the insects are going to be gun shooters, chainmaill is good against slashing, and if nothing else we can pretend we're a reenactment group.
