New type of matter has been assigned the colour yellow. Business as usual. You cant "see" it yet though.
The light blue however, is dangerous. The lightened area around it shows the danger zone. The filled in area breaks down everything. The first outer line shows the area at which crystals(not assimilated matter) break down, and the largest area shows where you cant assimilate. If you dont drop crystals or assimilated matter near it, its effect is just blocking growth.

Further investigation reveals varying levels of instability in nearly all assimilated matter and crystals. By comparing the strength of the instability, you have managed to pinpoint the locations of whatever is causing it. The instability does not interfere with energy generation or storage, but does with thought processes and assimilation. Any thought processing coming from near the disturbances have to be filtered for noise.
