The last time I remember having a formal voting system like that in a game was MAN OF SCIENCE!, which slowed down quite a bit after having it. So I'd also be not terribly interested in having it.

The crystal has a vision range of three, so right-angled tendrils of length 5 with a distance of 6 between each one should be sufficient to expand the view...

Then considering our energy generation an length of 10 or more might make sense. Which will get us a lot of vision very cheaply.

I'm against the voting against thingy.  That unbalances the system.

Agreed. Your way of putting the down votes after makes more sense to me (then at least you can tell how [un]popular an option is)

huh, made me realise something: we should test what happens when you just dump energy into medium and low density matters as well. Perhaps even what happens if we overload crystals/assimilated matter.

Actually, I might as well as tell you what happens when you overload your crystals. Matter is a seeecret though.(meaning I havent decided yet)

Not much happens when you overload your crystals. Its basically what is happening when your production exceeds storage, meaning you just lose the energy. It would be stupid if overexpansion made you explode, so your structure accounts for that. As far as you know, that is. Metamorphosis can screw around with that occasionally.

At least we know the HD matter is nonconductive. (Either that or 500 is a whole lot of power). Maybe we should melt the area around our top to shield us from the surface?
