You know, I would totally buy some of these games on sale.

Sadly amazon does not wish to take silly foreigner money and you need to live in the US to buy stuff. Seems I will have to stick with steam.

Hey, cool, Hinterland is $3. I held off on buying it because people said it was fun but didn't live up to the promise. But for $3...I think it'll be worth that.

So I wasted $5 on Sim City 4, as it apparently only runs on Windows XP (I'm on Windows 7). I would STRONGLY recommend against buying it if you have any other OS. Freezes my (practically new) computer after a minute or two of gameplay. Actually the first time it's ever frozen (and it happened three times in a row). Very disappointing, hopefully someone else won't make the same mistake.

I was able to run it fine on a windows 7 machine - try changing to software graphics mode, I think there's something wonky with the 3d hardware support on newer cards....
