Civilization IV Complete Edition is sort of on sale...$20.15 on Amazon. I've really been wanting it...but it has been way cheaper. Cheapest was 7 dollars, and it once in awhile goes on sale for 10 or 11 on Amazon.

Sadly, I totally missed it when it was on sale last time...it supposedly went on sale in really early April (this month) and I was on vacation

Funny thing...I play Total War exactly like how one plays Civ IV In TW I skip/auto resolve battles and play it as a turn based strategy management game lol...

Anyway, I really want to get Civ IV mostly for the Fall From Heaven II overhaul mod...that looks epic.

As a fan of EU3, would Crusader Kings 2 be worth the buy at this price point? I imagine it'll go even further down at some point in the future. Thoughts appreciated.

I was wondering the same thing. I am very on the border on Crusader Kings 2. Well at least on the border until it hits under $10.

Just regarding this; aren't checks made to match your credit card billing address and the one you supply, in which case a false address won't work?

Yeah I didn't think that far ahead.  I just said "meh I got it may as well play it" and got like 6% downloaded before I decided "this will take too long, so I'll do it while I'm asleep."  Don't see the option for a refund anywhere :s

I'm just derping all over this $10 aren't I?

$10 could get you a decent meal at an all you can eat buffet in many places. Would you rather have unlimited fried chicken, or 20 minutes of frustration for your $10?

Terrible chicken, maybe.  I've never met a buffet that I agree with.  Also vegetarian, which means buffets are rather pointless.  Literally, go into an all you can eat buffet and get stuck with dry mashed potatoes - no gravy - as the only thing edible.  Sometimes.  Mashed potatoes are often cooked with bits of ham.

Yeah, people get so excited about Steam sales but fail to notice that Amazon pretty much gives away shit constantly. (Somebody at Amazon advertising/marketing seriously should figure out how to fix that.)

Anyhow, www.deals4downloads.com is one helluva site.  It even compares a given title across services.  (Again, Amazon pretty much always has the lowest price on non-GOG inventory, yet no one knows this for some reason.)

At a glance, Mount & Blade, Hearts of Iron III, Victoria, or Space Rangers 2 can be had for bus fare right now.
