A retracting spike pit with 2 z levels of bloody water.
Throw the goblins into the pit, they sink and start to drown (To slow!)
So I pull the lever and the spikes start slicing them, causing it to turn into a huge mess.

Imagine pouring water into a blender, adding a beetroot, and activating.

Do DF physics even work like that?  ???

Anyone willing to test my 10 serrated cotton candy disc trap at the bottom of a 20 z level hole?
Wouldn't they just die on landing, giving the ridiculous trap no chance to activate?

I'm not sure if it'd be entirely a waste... serrated discs have huge value, so I'm guessing adamantine ones would boost your forts wealth to ridiculous levels.  Although really an iron equivalent already slices goblin snatchers into tiny pieces.

Still try it. Maybe it will activate. Maybe it can be put while they fall down the pit and get chopped up before they smash into the floor. WHY CAN'T WE DO THAT?

On a side note that's partially related to executions, is there any way to make a pressure plate close a door/floodgate when it's triggered?  Got a few possible ideas for a suicide booth for vampires and dissident nobledwarves.

link presure plate to door?

Pressure plates generally send an OPEN command to whatever they're linked to.  I'm sure I saw someone mention a way to invert this, but I cant remember where or what it was.

so it's definately possible

Im just worried if I hit the caverns, a FB will show up and fly out of it. Or something else that is bad will also fly through the hole.

The caverns are not bad... I spent a ton of time living down in one with a rudimentary fortress and 3 warriors. Just keep your fortress wealth low. You warriors don't need fantastic gear to kill whatever is in there. In fact it is a great way to get a couple hardened veterans and spend your time carving an intricate city deep underground...

My bedrooms circled up the walls of the caverns, while all my stock piles were under the lowest main cavern floor, hospital and, dorm, and administrative  stuff on the main level, as well as a kitchen and small food stockpile next to the farms on the main level.

As for 'untouchable' dwarves... nothing elaborate, a simple cave in, starvation, or exile will do =)

However I wish you could dictate your hammerer to hammer individual dwarves through the justice screen, that would be my most preferred method. The overseer should be able to dispense justice at will...

When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I have captured in my fort a minotaur, that i have caged

I built an arena, if i ever want to execute someone throw them in there and pull the lever, the logic is if they survive that they can live. None have yet

The only executions I've ever preformed were strictly for scientific, educational and totally justifiable purposes, not due to any personal feelings toward the creature in question. After all, that which I cannot assimilate, I can lock in a cage and say, "Good enough."

That said, artificial cave-ins can provide plenty of interesting ways to off someone.

Cave-ins for execution require too much work, there needs to be a self-reloading trap that launches enemies!

Oh wait, there is.

Seal up an FB with deadly dust, put him behind fortifications, make it a pit.

Whoever gets thrown in there gets blasted into the wall, slides down a hole, into the repeating spike traps or burning lignite grates >:)
