A new era is dawning on the galaxy. The progress of technology has never been more rapid. The wealth of civilizations has never been as great. The weapons of war have never been more advanced. It is an era where wars are fought with millions, an era where untold billions of raw materials are needed every day just to keep the maws of industry running. With reliable, cheap FTL, widespread terraforming and sheer numbers and determination, no place remains out of reach for life. New galactic civilizations rise every day, thousands of species making their mark on the void.

But one specific civilization of these is of interest to you. Spreading outwards from its out-of-place home system, these beings seem deadset on becoming the next masters of the stars... or burning themselves out and being damned to a footnote in galactic history. Their final fate remains to be seen.

After the civilization has been chosen, players may claim and create representatives of Disunifying Powers, or claim specific military commanders to control. I will occasionally often run subplots of your own for these people. Players can also simply create various characters associated with the government for RP and funtimes, plus elaborating on their suggestions.

I will be glad to answer the many questions you might have.

Totally would make a race, but at the moment I lack a keyboard and writing is a pain.

It's a suggestion game, but you create the played civilization/race, AND you can play representatives of certain factions inside your civ and politicians/military leaders in general. You can just think of it as a way to frame your suggestions (and RP isn't compulsory), but I intend to run subplots on the side for those who are interested.

Slightly, as it's also YaK-influenced. There's no single ruler here, though, and folks won't have quite as much freedom with their actions. You can't be a fleet admiral who goes pirate, for example, or a general who decides to strike out his own kingdom. Ghazkull's game doesn't allow independence either, if I remember correctly, so it's a poor comparison.

Well, I'm really tempted to strike out with the bog standard Earth civilization, because ultimately everything boils down to the same interactions and actions, and roleplaying humans is always so much simpler. If someone comes up with a more interesting/exotic choice, I will deferr to that choice provided it gets support form others. Either way, here it goes my bit.

Race Name: ....( Bad at names)
Race Description:
Physical: Depends on castes. Generally antlike. The lower castes are smaller and fragile, while the higher castes are much larger. Size ranges between 1 m to several metes large.

Mental: All ants have low individual intelligence, though they do show a great memetic capability. Problems are always solved in the thousand monkeys on thousand typewriters will eventually produce shakespeares work way. Castes are fit and teached for one job, and loss of life is not considered dramatic. Through a complicated system of pheromones and other, the race can act quite strange in groups( Military tactics, for example)

Form of Government: Collective intelligence
Civilization Description: These beasts have been living on the planet for a long time, and due to their high rates of reproduction they continue to evolve quite fast. Technological advances have been made only recently after contact with an alien species, thanks to their advanced learning capabilities. Recently this contact has resulted in the evolution of a more individually intelligent caste, capable of manipuating the lower castes. This can result in conflicting orders, and might even bring the race in danger.

Wonderful, though that would require some special rules - for example, population growth. The chances of surviving the blessing are pretty miniscule, though, you'd need to abduct hundreds of millions to keep up a stable population. That said, with the insane scale of the game, that's not actually that hard. I definitely like it, and not just because of Godhood bias.

Do remember that you can suggest custom traits, and I'll make some unique ones of my own if needed.

Warrior-Species (Population = Warriors),
Resourceful Converter ( Enemy Ships, Facilities and even troops can be converted into population,resources and income)

would that work better? Besides i reduced the surviving chance due to the fact that people come out of it with an immunity to pain and disease...rendering most if not all biological weapons ineffective...

Fair enough. Warrior-Species doesn't work (you still need people in support roles, crewing the ships, converting those resources, etc. etc., even if they do soldiering part-time) so a 100% recruitment rate is impossible, but a majority-soldier population is possible.

Even if I end up picking something else, I'd love to include the Korpr in the game. Just imagine the terror of picking up a Carrion Fleet entering your system, scrambling your fleets to intercept them before they reach your weakly-defended border worlds...
