Arachnids... Insects...
As a person who has taken a Zoology class, I must say they are NOT insects.
They are Members of the phylum Arthropoda (Jointed Leg Creatures) and share only that with Insects and their like.
Insects are a seperated Class from Arachnids.

Quite right, but the fools won't listen.

They don't understand that the real threat is from the wasps!

Hey, what's up Bay12. Just thought I'd check in to find out what fuck you guys are doing in here. And more importantly, how concerned I should be...

Judging by the insect/arachnid war discussion going on, along the ponies and other memes I'm seeing wandering around, I'd say moderately.

I always used to think your Avatar was Cthulhu.
And then I realized it's a person in a doorway.

I'm sorry to inform that is also incorrect, as that is most certainly not a doorway.

Oh, come on. Nobody's even brought up mermaid bone yet. Or the potential artistic qualities inherent in the leather of herd of multicolored equines. And can you imagine how stylish your dwarven miltia would be if they could have scarves made from Rainbow Dash's sheared mane? Or Celestia's? That would be badass.

plus, as insects, aracnids dont have morals

Your idea of morals is odd, everything living is ingrained with it's own behavioral patterns which dictate what it does - otherwise known as morals. The spiders... Yeah, I imagine most of them would be eaten by other spiders. But hey, mating patterns.
That said, when they start getting communal... Well lets say they've proven they can take over acres worth of land through sheer force of team work.
Insects? Depends which species.

Do you really have to take a Zoology class to count 6/8 legs? :S

Hi, I live in Australia. Our ground is made of a carpet of spiders, our oceans of invisible assassins and our skies a cloud of wasps.

Actually, scarves of anything other than a single, solid color are considerably less badass. Pretty? Sure. Fashionable? Perhaps. But NOT badass.

True Story. Australia's spiders are so big, they have health bars!

taking a degree in exotic animal management, i know full well that arachnids aren't insects, just abit of a gramatical error, ti's all.

i could bring up the arguement, which i seldom use as i really don't agree with it, that involves us not understanding animals and the communication's between species and such, but observed behaviour dictates really that carniverous and carniverous and herbiverous insects really don't get along. that said, look at spider island. what the hell is going on there o.O

Yet another reason I am never leaving my bedroom.  Everywhere else is closer to Australia!

You know what... I think I am just going to stay away from both places to creatures are located at.
