The Queen is a necrophili...er necromancer!
« on: April 10, 2012, 06:40:49 pm »

I'm surprised that I'm not playing Zombie Fortress. I wonder if that means I'm safe from undead? but im not on an evil map and no towers nearby, so I guess I'll never know  :(

She can conveniently be employed raising a ball of undead catsplosion aftermath.

Imagine!  Kittenfall, 10 levels, into a crowded 1x1 room!  Peering in through the slit, HRM dwarfina necrophilia sees it all!

The kittens fall, splatter and explode. She sees the corpses. She raises the corpses.  More kittens fall in.....more.... more....more....

The "kitten room" has a single exit to the outside world, via a lever operated floodgate.

Goblins come...... pull the lever!

Nonsense! Vampires are for killing! Just keep corpses in a separate sealed room until the queen arrives, then put the queen in that room.

*A vile force of darkness has arrived!
*The queen deconstructs the wall holding all the undead back

will certainly make guaranteeing the succession a bit dangerous.

Can necromancers summon undead via veiwing through a green glass window?

Are you sure she's still the queen now? I know necromancers don't die of old age, but when my civ's second general decided to do a bit of reading it resulted in the immediate appointment of a new one. (It still lists "the dwarf necromancer" becoming general in the first place for me, but they weren't a necromancer yet). Now vampirism, that's different, and there's a thread around here of someone with a necromancer married to their vampire queen, but I'd guess that's because consort positions are decided by marriage, so they follow different rules.
