uh, he didn't test ultra lean ones, nor do I know if he did give them time to run and heal up

in adventure mode 31.25, lighting some grass on fire and slowly melting your fat away, giving you time to heal, was a way to become fireproof. campfires don't seem to cut the stuff, I guess toady thought it was an exploit.

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

Currently, dwarfs "burn" by their fat melting, causing massive bleeding. If the major had little or now fat, the little damage it did would have healed on it's own. Congratulations, you have a magma-proof mayor.

Why doesn't anyone just abandon and welcome the old inhabitants to the new fort. After all, what else to train a legendary weaponsmith for if not to use him in several forts.
This is misleading, creatures with little or no fat still recieve burns, catch on fire, and will bleed but they'll survive an absurdly long time. I have noticed a glitch where dwarves don't seem to take damage properly but have never been able to isolate a way to replicate it.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

reanimated zombies in a volcano. No fat anymore, no damaging, hanging around at the bottom.

there is your evidence.

also, note that my original said magma proof, not fire proof, the fire proof was an assumption.

That's great, it's just not true.

This is the zombie before it went in the fire, it has no fat and it isn't bleeding and it isn't burned.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This is the zombie shortly after it went in the fire, it's heavilly bleeding (despite having no skin, muscle, or fat to speak of) and it's teeth and body parts are clearly "burned"

Please don't state something to be ‼Scientifically‼ proven unless you've done the science.
