wonder how I'd set up the segments to be zombies.....
Give the legs the [GRASP] tag
-page 20 of Urist McInsanelyUnlucky's combat logs-
*The giant centipede strikes Urist McInsanelyUnlucky in the lower left leg with it's *iron warhammer*, bruising the bone!*
*The giant centipede hacks Urist McInsanelyUnlucky in the lower right leg with it's -steel shortsword-, chipping the bone!*
*The giant centipede hacks Urist McInsanelyUnlucky in the head with it's *copper battleaxe* and the severed part flies off in an arc!*

*Urist McInsanelyUnlucky has finally found the sweet release of death*

I guess I'll still be around when they burn, burn it down
I will be standing around when they burn it down

I feel almost sad for that dwarf.... Hey I said almost.

Can you make a magma (word choice :P) centipede for me? :3
So then I could deul it out in pits of burning hot magma in the object arena

Well I think all it would take is creating a new material to replace the chitin with, but I may be wrong about that.

I've made my plated centipede to have no real legs, only segments. So now I realise it's more of a "plated caterpillar" than plated centipede :D. It's done mostly to give hammerdwarves and macedwarves some chance, since otherwise they keep hitting legs :D.

Doesn't giving the legs a relatively small size make dwarves less likely to hit it?

It does, however they are still in the way when ou have 28 legs. Especially when someone is firing a crossbow or a rivebow.

Sorry for being stupid, but what file would I put the body detail plan in? :)

b_detail_plan_default, body_default, or body_rcp?
