Theres been a few giant centipedes included in various mods but this is first i know of that has a legitimate body plan as opposed to just being a renamed snake. Kudos mate.

Imagine the will it took to create a fortress like this. And what have you elves built? Nothing. You can only loot and break. You're not dwarves!! You're just termites at Versailles.

It's not that I don't suffer, it's that I know the unimportance of suffering, I know that pain is to be fought and thrown aside, not to be accepted as part of one's soul and as a permanent scar across one's view of existence.

Looks like it would be really threatening to a fortress, so many body parts would mean that a hammer dwarf getting a head-shot would be so unlikely.

I made one with 100 legs, this one just has 28 (?).

Although in real life centipedes do only have 28 legs, so nice job. :D

anywhere from 28 to over 300. depending on the species. made it so that it's constantly growing through it's life too.
the really big ones happen after 29 years.

the important thing is that centipedes have an odd number of pairs.

been doing some testing in the arena, the segments work!
cutting off the third segment doesn't kill it right off (lot of bleeding though) and it gets rid of the fourth to seventh segments.

Yeah that must be a bitch to kill with blunt weapons, but far easier to kill with slicing ones.

if you manage to cut off a segment it bleeds out quickly.

What does it say about me that I look at this thing and think: "Hmm, it's not terrifying enough" and then make it even bigger, add huge mandibles for it to stab and cut with, and replace the chitin with a stronger material?
