How would you prevent metal songs from thrashing everyone around with Satan, legions of hell, Blitzkrieg, the British army, air raids, the Wëhrmacht, aliens, warlocks, Elder Gods etc?

The more powerful the effect the harder the roll. And metal will both be very aggresive and nerfed.

By that same logic, dubstep would be summoning aliens and dinosaurs, and gospel would be deploying Gods army. Seems like it would balance out to me.

Name: Louie 'The Revolution' Martin
Genre: Political Hip-Hop
Fluff: Born in the streets, but has decided he wants to bring change to his country. Vicious yet passionate, Extreme yet logical.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

((Makes sense. Although I wanted to point out aggressiveness.))

((I was considering joining, but I did not quite understand the system. Which dice system will be used? How will battles work out? Is there any background?))

The dice system is standard, except when you summon Satan/Archangels/Cthulu in which you need a five or six to succeed. The background is that you create your character, a normal human from any point in time, who is taken to an infinite white plane of existance, which is shaped by music. Your genre determines a bonus to your rolls to that style of music (i.e. if Sinpwn used Ride the Lightning, he would get 4+1, while TCM would just get 4. Each of you starts 5 miles from each other and can start terraforming or whatever.

So basically... we're all high?

You mean chiptunes?

No not really, but that could work..
What I meant tough was something in line of Zelda,
Final Fantasy, Super Mario, Mortal Kombat, Megaman.. etc.

edit: Now that I think of it, some of what I mentioned are chiptunes.. Tough some are more orchestrated.

edit2: What I had in mind was a mix of different types of video game music.
But I could narrow it down a bit.. Or I could instead go for a different musical genre,
which was my original backup plan.
