I got seiged a second time by goblins, I'm more prepared this time with PLENTY of traps, a MASSIVE wall, and the dragon... Except this time they have a hammerLORD and a pikeMASTER with them... And I checked the civ screen and it appears one of the swordsmen in this opening strike is their war leader... Provided their last names are the same cause I think its a bit cut off on civ screeen... Regardless, I have 7 mixed soldiers, a war bear, a dragon, and enough traps to catch ANYTHING that comes near me and if they make it through, a barrier of 3 10 serraded disk traps done almsot masterfully awaits them... This a goblin christmas or a slaughter waiting to happen?

EDIT: I'd also like to make note they brought a Troll with them...

EDIT2: I'd like to restate they have 7 trolls comming now...

I think its a bit cut off on civ screeen...

I just found last week, a way to view those long names in DF.  Press F12, to toggle truetype on/off.  On mine it shrinks the text down and lets me read long names on stuff.  Good luck surviving the siege.

So far, I've slaughter all of their swordsmen, captured like 6 marksmen, and they still havent retreated yet... The bastards killed all my wolverines... I WILL MAKE THEM PAY! *bear continues to rip off goblins head* HELL YEAH!

EDIT: Two brave soldiers went to fight the crossbow men, and killed all but 4 and they dropped dead side by side... They will be remembered for the years to come, and the other four are slaughtering trolls

Good news: I captured about half of their army and the rest serve as a warning to the rest of the goblins, and as it turned out, he had PART of the war leaders name in his, so it wasn't him (weird...) and I captured their hammerlord and their pikemaster who will be executed once I make a place for them to be

Execute them by long drop, that's how I do it. (Don't execute thieves or crossbowgoblins with this method.)

Sorta reminds me of Blackhawk Down.  Those two guys faught to save that pilot, side by side.  Kewl, fight you had there.  Trolls always rock my world.  Knutor
