Has this happened to anyone else?  I just generated a 34.07 new world and went into legends mode and checked the artifacts list.  351 of 357 were books while the other 6 were slabs.

I'm not really complaining, I just thought it was kinda interesting.  I'm also quite amused at all the book titles and the materials they're bound with.

you think 350 books is a lot? I've genned worlds with over 4000 books. Finding a slab in those giant piles of books was impossible

Yes, admitedly I only went for 125 years but I was more struck by the sheer lack of artifacts of any other kind like weapons or armor or what have you.  I had the largest world size but maybe the cultures and sites weren't diverse enough or I just didn't let it go long enough in generation or it's a statistical anomaly.

It was just surprising, I suppose there's no precedence that the artifacts have to be balanced or distributed in any particular fashion though.

There are no artifacts made during world gen.

It's unfortunate but true. No artifacts but books and slabs right now.

I was hoping I could get my adventurer some spiffy socks....
