If anyone is interested, I need someone to stock my stores while I'm away. PM me and I'll put up a job offer/we can discuss payment

Oh noes, you're cutting into my market! Well, no, not really. I've done nothing dairy-related yet. The Strawberry Banana Smoothie market is mine, though, you hear? :P

Also, whoever was downplaying the export market hasn't been making fruit. I see Strawberries on the B2B market for 0.50, so of course I price mine there too. Except every time I do in the past few days, Export markets snap them up for .52 or .54. Must be the higher quality makes the difference. In which case, screw the other businesses. :D

Well, I could help by supplying you with high-quality milk.
I can assume that the milk market is busier than the strawberry market though.

Nobody's really buying right now. As I said, I put it on the market at a competitive price and the export market gobbles it up. It seems like sales on B2B in general are slowing down in preparation for the store change... I don't see too many people stocking strawberries when they only have 8 shelves per store. On the other hand, that means more of the market for me... right? No matter how large I make the farmer's market, though, I don't see it selling 1 million strawberries in 8 hours. That's my production capacity at the moment.

I'm rambling. Thanks for offering the milk. :)

yes, b2b seems to be slowing down.
probably many people, like myself, are avoiding to restock stores until the changes are out.

I'll have to lower dividends in my public company.

im moving over to motor trade resells, massive margins(100k profit on a SUV that cost 90K!!) and a low number of things to stock(12).
i can cut costs by making the car from imported part as well.

Yeah, my stores are almost empty now and I'm waiting for the change. I don't want to be stuck with inventory and having to micro a lot of stores individually.

I'm still heavily in production, Moving though some tomatoes and mangoes along with some cherries.
Need to find space for some oranges to restock my store though, not gonna sell oranges with the current prices  ;D .

Pulling out of barley due to prices though.

We just need to get Toady to embed a Lisp interpreter into DF.  Learning lambda calculus in order to play the game wouldn't make DF's learning curve much steeper.

public companies are overrated. good for a net worth boost, but if you plan to keep them, private ownership gives you much more flexibility.
mostly in the form of moving cash in and out freely.

of course, if you want a quick boost in cash and/or net worth, it is worth doing, however.

Hmm... Perhaps. But, I enjoy the stock market too much.

that is true.

I might eventually IPO one of my companies, but by the time they are big enough, I grow too fond of them.

meanwhile, I'll get all my stock market needs from DENC. not founded by me, but I bought it from one of B12.
Sadly, dariush holds almost all the shares not owned by me, and as far as I know he went inactive, so there is no trade :(

um
oddly my entire company was destroyed, and no reason was provided

All factories, stores, and research buildings belonging to Aranea have been destroyed by a flood.
Aranea is history, but fortunately you were able to obtain 2,368,904.51 from the insurance company.

why, ratan?
