For a while, I wondered how can quality could really impact things that much.

Then I found myself looking at peaches in my local Safeway, and paying $1.39 for a can with a pull-top instead of $1.09 for a can that I needed an opener for.

You know I never knew just how good takeovers could be. As CEO of Forever Fruit, appointed by Paul, I invested my bonus and earnings from all of my companies in FF. I was certain the stock would go up as the company was able to make more and more money off store and B2B sales. Then someone decided to takeover the company from Paul. The stock hit a high of 22$, rising from 2.4$, and I sold all of my 3% of the company's stock. I made 36M off of it.

Also as a question to Paul, by selling your 26% how much cash did you make?

~290 million. I shall invest this into my blooming toy company. Soon the world shall know the joy of Kemp brand toys. Or else they will have to face the Kemp brand killer robots. Kemp brand world domination is upon you all!
My 36M is going straight to my new food ingredient company. Make sure to watch out for its IPO, it's name is Santorum. Thankfully Santorum is 8 letters, so it will be it's ticker too.

Wow, today has been the most profitable day for me in the history of me playing this game. First I turn ~5M into 36M when that guy toke over Forever Fruit, then I put that 36M into Kemp Retail, when it cost only 5$, it goes up to ~17$ and I end up with a cool 117M$. Thats going to quadruple the value of Santorum when I put it all in it tommorow. Thats more than the entire networth of Rommney Inc.

Also some how Forever Fruit managed to earn 1.3B off of the takeover, and I'm entitled to 10% by contract, which means an extra 130M for me.

Armok Industries, starting off with paper production, has just been born.

...Hopefully I won't bankrupt myself.

Is there any real point to expanding a facility beyond the point where production time is a fraction of a second?
Because I don't think I really need my 500m^2 fruit plantation. I could use the money for other things, like building a new, smaller farm and not having to take out more loans. If a larger farm gives some form of bonus past less production time, then I'll make do, but if not, then it's a waste of money.

Depends on your volume of sale.

If you're doing retail, and production ability matches sales, then increase stores then increase factory. If you're doing b2b sales, then the b2b market can sustain pretty much any amount of goods, so there no reason to stop expanding.

I got 2400m2 total of orchard, and 2100m2 of plantation. I want to get my plantation to 3000m2 total.

My plantation can only give 51k units of rubber in 6hrs, and well for myself, that's no where need good enough. My production goals currently for all my facotories is to give a 24hours worth of Sales in 6hrs.

And since this game has no sense of excess, the rest either sit, go onto the b2b market or gets exported.

Dariush, my contract with LEGION ran out. You've got no one running it now.
I'll take up the duty gain, but I'd need a significantly larger bonus or base salary (20% would do ;)). Getting busy with my own stuff so it has got to be worth my while.

I'm still churning out the highest quality cocoa beans and cocoa powder I see on the market thanks to buying around two-million high quality water a day most days. My stockpile of water at this time is q47, but I'm going to see about raising that later on this evening after the stuff I finished mass-producing sells. I did see q60 water for $0.20 a unit. Two million of that would be $400,000, and with the money I pull in each day I can easily afford that.

Most of my money however still goes towards research, as I'm mostly interested in producing quality goods for the most part. I'm at this time working on developing the proper technology to eventually branch out into the chocolate milk market, which may somehow lead me into the water refining industry as well. Since I favor quality over quantity though, the main reason I'd get into said water industry is to lessen my costs and improve my profits.

Either way I'm still having fun with this game. I especially like the part where I get into price wars with those choobs who think they can undercut me. What they don't know is I don't have a life so I can just check in several times a day and lower my prices down to levels no one else would consider and still sell all of my crap in a few hours time.

Ehehe I'm taking the opposite approach with my other company focusing on the cheapest 0 quality fruit I can mass produce. It's still in its infancy as most of my money is committed in that b12 company, but so far is looking good.
