I don't understand, what is the motivation for buying finished products such as cars and televisions, etc., stuff that can't be made into anything else?

To sell in a retail store.

Thinking about buying a Watersports store, and supplying it with Import or B2B.

Good idea, bad idea?

Yes, but when you sell it in the retail store, who will buy it? Since, wont it just be sold on to another player who will sell it again for a higher price?

Companies never buy from each other at retail prices, unless there is major price gouging going on in an untouched, no import market.

Ah, so consumer goods are bought up by the game itself, as a currency source for the economy?

Okay, I got tired of this game. Too bad this happened after I got several companies to run. :-/

Permanently looking for managers for Legion Merchandise and Legion Foods. Good payment. Work good and get a raise. Don't do anything and get your ass flamed. Prod as PM or on IRC.

Yup. The basis of any strong modern economy are an infinite supply of rich customers to which no cutoff exists (seriously. Try selling lemons at retail for 10$)

You could pass it off as 'organic' lemons.  There are many others who sell their lemons at more 'reasonable' prices.... well maybe, just gotta check the average price.

Okay, I'm thinking I'm going to make a new account that isn't attached to Facebook, because the Facebook login thing is horribly broken and I can't get to my account 6 times out of 10. What would be a good industry to get into at the moment?

I still notice a total lack of a number of hot foods on the B2B, which is why I'm helping Toast Industries get into that market.

Toast Watersports just listed its first load of rowboats on B2B.  I eventually plan to build my own broker, but for now, I'm B2Bing them.
