I signed up as detrius manufacturing, intending to pursue mining and fossil fuel extraction as my main industries. Am I doin it rite?
I think those industries are mostly filled but you might still be able to make money there.

I had a change of heart and decided to do jewelry/ shitty fruit until my R&D gets all of my stuff up to speed. I'm doing high quality silver bracelets right now, or at least in R&D.
EDIT: Anybody doing a food processing based comapny? I'm selling Cherries at the lowest price on the market (the problem being that they are zero quality) and I'd be willing to try to set up some sort of "insider trading" deal on silver or limes or something. (I only mention limes because I have quality 15 and tha'd be nice for Ice Cream producers).

I will likely be doing an IPO tomorrow.
Swann Industries:
http://www.ratjoy.com/eos/firm/2041
Net worth should pass 30 million tonight, hopefully. Swann Industries is a capable company limited only by its relatively smaller factory sizes. While I do earn millions in store sales, I focus on B2B mostly. Industrial supplies and chemical goods are the main sellers; primarily tungsten powder, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and the occasional metal or glass product. The IPO funding will go to expanding smelters and petrochemical plants. Research facilities will be expanded if the money is there. I doubt I'll start with a dividend, but it will come (hopefully sooner than later) to keep the stock price up.
I'll likely pull the trigger around 10 or 11 AM EST. Be ready for fun and profit.

On a side note, if anyone really enjoys running stores, primarily pricing, and wants a job, let me know... I spend enough time keeping the stores stocked without having any to set prices properly.

There's always lazy 2x option, and later admin will implement a new store ui, so it will be even better. Right now setting prices is the most time-consuming thing and can be done by the 2x button.

Yea, most of that is likely the research. Car research is incredibly expensive. That research gift was a huge boon - to rush that would have probably cost billions.

Heh, I bought a buncha shares of El Cookie when it dropped down super cheap, getting em for like $2 a share. Next thing I know I see in player news that I lost control of the company. I go and sell 3 million shares for $10 a share, making a 24 mil instant profit. Then the guy sees me doing that and dumps all his shares back, dropping the price back down to $2 - allowing me to buy the shares back cheap again.

Yay free money?

I sold my company, restarted, and sold my company again for some reason. Probably because I don't want to play this game anymore. I just don't have the motivation to play any sort of massively-multiplayer-online game right now. Plus, I bought Capitalism 2 on Sunday night and to be honest with you that sounds more fun than Economies of Scale.

If you don't like the multiplayer aspect it's definitely more fun.

Hey guys, I'm looking for an Overseer for Legion Merchandise. 500k pay, 5% bonus, guaranteed raises for good work, responsibilities include restocking and lazybuttoning two stores and ordering research and production while I'm not around. Preferably online access every day.
