isn't there a better search on the marketplace? checking for import and b2b separatedly and finding them is most boring

Because now I can buy bacon for 60$ (import) and sell for 100$ (b2b).

The maintenence derped. It also affected welfare.
They also added a restart function in the options.

Is there any changelog regarding maintenance changes?

People actually buy that? I look to import by default, because the goods are usually better quality, cheaper.

That depends heavily on the good (and the person selling.)  A lot of things are cheaper on B2B- you just have to take the time to look.  When you're stocking a supermarket or other store with multiple categories, that potentially takes quite some time.

So, does anyone actually "improve" water in the beverage factory? I'd be willing to pay ~$0.2 an unit for as low as Q5, since my rubber industry needs at least 7 million units a day. Big production right there.

I'm not sure what "multiple categories" means here. If you want to know what is being sold in the B2B that can be retailed at a supermarket, you can go to your supermarket and click the "B2B Store" button. Or you can click "B2B Store" in many different menus, and then click "Supermarket". And, there you are, the list of B2B products filtered to just that which is sold in a supermarket.

Throwing my hat into the ring as Esteban Hidalgo Montana of Soylent Industries. I quickly reset after achieving complete and utter failure my first try and am now attempting to do strictly retail, buying everything on the market or at import and I'm so far making money with office supplies. It's slow going so I may end up resetting once more due to a few questionable purchases at the very beginning, but we'll see. Probably gonna whip up a few spreadsheets soon to help me control my prices and supplies. Does anyone have any advice for setting prices? So far I'm just looking at the average and guessing +/- based on product quality.

That's definitely an interesting strategy but seems like too big of a gamble given my limited capitol.

I've been playing for the last 3 days as Troy Steele, CEO and Owner of Steele's Steel Inc.
With only $12k left and 5.5 hours until my 2455 coal is mined, I may have enough money to smelt that many steel bars... and be short on money for bloody ages. I wish retail ticks were every 5 minutes and B2B was much quicker, but selling steel on B2B is like walking into IKEA and trying to sell your own flatpack :/

I'm making lots just from building lemons for a few hours then selling it on b2b, very easyily.
However i make more profit with retail but it's micromanagement intensive, i have a gas station size 70 that's making me about $150 per item (when i've bought some of everything) plus 2.5k from gasoline, which isn't too bad, it seems if i just keep ity full and expand constantly i'll make a killing, but like i said lemosn are easier, i can log out for 24 hours and have enough lemons to make a killing (as long as someone buys the damn things)
Also i imported 100 each of a few things for my market without checking the price, more expencive then i thought, melons for instance were $75 each, but they did sell eventually (maybe 1-3 per tick) ... hell even my lemons don't sell too easily on the market.
I'm thinking of restarting Standard lemons and renaming it to Lemon motors, just to see what the heavier industries do to profits (but i'll keep a gas station running since it fits in and damn the profit is pretty good)
