I'm selling everything overpriced and they're actually selling until I finish the next batch. Except for Salt. But most of my salt is the ones I buy from undercutting peddlers and then resell at 1.4 times the price.

CAEK!

You need to sell CAEK to me too!
True, but you don't shout CAEK in the irc as soon as I pop in. Toaster is rather good at doing that really quickly.

You don't whore IRC for several years without picking up a few tricks.

I'm about the only person in the Orange Sobert market. But I'm not price gouging. 10 bucks per unit.

3 of my Quests are the exact same thing. Expand any R&D to 74m^2 or over.

And the prize is ~21k. That reward wont even cover the additive to my Annual Cost of Salary and Building Maintenance, and certainly just a drop in the bucket for the 730k cost to expand it that large...

Let alone the fact that that is largely counter productive to what I currently need. None of my research needs that large of a building, as they're taking less then 4hr by and far.

I need a store or a factory that large, not R&D.

My largest store is at 76m^2. And that been paid mostly through Orange Exports.

Is it not cheaper in the long run to run a 10m R&D and just... outsource research whenever the heck I feel like it?

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Current research: Researching  Diamond of quality 53
Current outsource cost: $1,379,637,413.28
Time remaining: 04:52:53

Which one would you prefer, waiting 5 hours, or paying over 1 billion to outsource :P
This is with a 1500m2 Prospector btw, I do not skimp on research (as you can see from the world rankings)

You can always just rebuy it and sell it back at a higher price, which worked very well for me. But the problem is overproduction really. Need to send someone to bludgeon Griff Industries.

I think rather about dead chickens (whole chicken, chicken breast, chicken drumsticks).
