I see several companies with a huge market cap but with little to no earnings and almost no networth. There are also no big shareholders (10% max) what happened here? Some sort of scam?

Name them and I can probably tell you how/why.
For example:

http://www.ratjoy.com/eos/stock-view.php?ss=MERC
http://www.ratjoy.com/eos/stock-view.php?ss=IIII
http://www.ratjoy.com/eos/stock-view.php?ss=RANCID

These businesses have very high stock prices but they look dead.

Why do people sell finished products on B2B?

I assume to get some quick cash because they don't have the retail operation to sell what they produce in a reasonable time.

So how do I set prices at my retail stores? Right now I'm setting it a little under the average. But how does quality come into play? In Capitalism price+quality+brand gave your product an overall rating for competitiveness. How does it work here?

All used to be large companies but the owners then practically destroyed those, but they retain their huge market cap. RANCID I took over as the 2nd largest shareholder and given I want my money back I am currently managing and hoping to bring it back around.

Why do people sell finished products on B2B?

So that other people can buy them to sell in their stores...

Why do people sell finished products on B2B?
Because shops sell on all item slots. Not one specific one.
So if you only sell one item in your shop all the other slots still cost employee pay.
That's why people with shops try to buy and sell every item that is available in their shop.

So there's almost always a demand for finished products.
Which drives profit up. And where there is possible profit there are sellers.

Try 2W(1+Q/50) and then adjust prices up/down as needed. (W=wholesale, Q=quality)

So are 2 10m^2 stores the same as one 20m^2 store?

Almost, there is a tiny drop in efficiency, however you pay less wages/upkeep costs as those increase exponentially with larger buildings.

Is it only me or there's no point in researching natural gas, since it's quality doesn't figure in any of it's products?

EDIT: also, what the fuck: http://www.ratjoy.com/eos/market-prod.php?pid=60 .
999 quality at 1 quantity for a ridiculous price?...

I think that was a random reward some people got a while back.
They would get a random 999 quality item or something.

NG is used in glass and glass bottles as the only products it's quality effects. 3% is a lot when you want to make high quality stuff, to begin with, not very worth it however. Also used to be very profitable to export, nowadays petroleum is better, but making that into other stuff again is even better etc.
