So, I just started. And I'm only selling my fruit for double their unit price, but the avg. price of the market is /way/ higher then that.

How much of a mark up do you guys get away with?

Looks like someone bought up all the coal you guys had on the market?

Wish I'd got in on that instead of pouring my money into this baked goods boondoggle.

People are probably buying a lot of gas due to production it's used in. You might have better luck with iron given you need 6 iron per 1 coal to make steel.

As for market markup, anything from 2W(1+Q/50) to 12W (W= wholesale, Q=Quality). If I sell faster than I get something, I mark it up heavily and try to time it for next supply.

The real question is what they did it for.

Are they now planning on undercutting like mad specifically to break the attempt on a coal monopoly?
Or was this all a planned attempt by someone who needed coal to take advantage of B12? :o

Nope. PM'd him, he makes steel out of EVERYTHING on the market that's priced "Normally" That means that buying out the coal market is BIG money.

Essentially, B12 really should have raised the prices on the coal, then?

We did as much as was possible. About $2.5 if I remember correctly.

The guy that bought the coal told me to ask him if I ever needed a loan. This is awesome.

I'm Dan Sutovich from Dans Brewery Co. Trying to make apple cider, but not sure what should be the price at the supermarket, they buy it by twenties or so and that's not really much compared to the costs, so bassically I'm not earning anything right now.

I have a feeling that stores are supposed to have more than one item in them. :B

I've been diversifying my farmer's market in hopes of offsetting the price by selling more stuff, but... I'unno.

Amusingly, I had just been looking at your profile. :P

I went ahead and bought up some of your cider.  If it goes well, I may become a frequent customer.

I would go as far as negotiate better prices with frequent customers, since I own the monopoly of cider (for now).

I operate 2 companies that have stores dedicated to buying reasonably priced B2B products (food and drink products) to help newer players, and I pick up products worth hundreds of million per day, i only check 1-2 times a day though.

And yes, stores are generally meant to sell several products (all if possible) as it generates you money faster :)
