Honestly I think the massive nerfs were a bit uncalled for. I mean yeah, it has to be a bit harder to get your ass off the ground, but come on. 3 slots for factories? I took up all my slots just building my setup for "not running out of power and water like a goddamn fool". I suppose I could remove the mine and fuel my war machine with well-pumped natural gas, but that's not as efficient.

Well, the dev said that he's going to combine land plots soon so you'll share it all between factories, stores, and R&D. That was the reason for the limited slots initially.

EDIT: which means you probably should definitely buy the 1st R&D slot for $100.
I'm wondering if he's going to do another server reset, honestly. It seems like a good idea after the whole "resetting still gives you all the money" thing.

Well, he manually fixed the handful of companies that reset but yeah, I'd rather just have a full wipe and start over. Especially since research was copied from the old server too (world avg research levels were copied so research is WAY faster than it should be)

Please don't spend too much time on the new server.
The new server will be wiped on midnight 6/4/2012 when all issues are fixed, bonuses and gifts will be distributed on 6/10/2012.
I regret nothing.

That's ok, I bought your company out from under you. BTW, you're fired.

You say it should be harder to get off the ground, but I've been playing this company for a couple of months and I'm JUST scraping a gain.

Are you doing production or retail or both? I'm going to be sticking with my "retail-only" strategy to start to have a steady income. The import prices on the new server are about 1/3 of what they are on the old so import-to-retail is fairly profitable and gives you a steady profit from day 1. The plan is to funnel that money into bigger stores/marketing and then branch out into production/research and establishing new companies.

What industries were you in? Some are more profitable than others obviously.

I was doing poultry, from chicken to frozen chicken, then off to a supermarket.
That seems like a pretty standard setup to me?

Log in elsewhere?  Clear Cookies? I find it annoying enough having to relog every now and then.

I dont think capitalism online will last too long.

I just dont feel the dev will be able to keep it up long enough, sure there is the rush and excitement when you start getting it running, but I think he will just slow down.
