It would be nice if i could set the queue to Start production If the nessicary resources are present But as it it's very useful too, now when i have mixed quality levels of car parts and know i'll need to smaller production runs to use them i won't have to come back later to fix things.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Can't you just use the "mix products" option in the warehouse ?

never noticed that button :P
Edit: i don't like the idea of downgrading important Quality components even if it's just 1 level.
Unless the game tracks Fractional quality.

Well fellas, since you dropped me from the company, I suppose you'll be coming up to IRC to ask for discounts? I supplied plastic, steel, rubber and others to you at preferential prices and the fact I'm not employed will surely not change a thing.

Nope. When you mix, the new stack of product becomes the average of the two old stacks. There is no fractional quality.

I'm refraining from going public on most of my companies. I did it on KFC just to test out the system, but with the way the system works I think I'd rather keep my companies private. If it didn't cost such a huge amount of money to do things like issue stock I might like it more.

For instance, my KFC company - it wants 24,500,000 just to issue more stock or offer a stock split. My whole company's net worth is only 75 mil. So it's wanting 1/3 of my entire company's worth just to issue more stock. That's a pretty hefty fee, and it kind of negates the purpose of issuing stock (to raise money) if it costs almost as much just to issue stock as you could even get from the issue.

If you're willing to give up a little power, you can make a lot of capital off IPOs. Mine got about 200M cash, which is a hell lot for a company that had only around 20M cash and was about 120M+ net worth. That kind of capital provides a very nice boost, at least until you run out of things to spend money on.

Hey, it keeps guys like me from simply buying everything cheap and then reselling it to B2B at a few cents higher.

I've been sinking every spare penny lately from my other businesses and my stock market profits into a new company, Kemp Outdoors. It has been expanding and expanding. Today it has opened its doors to claim a big chunk of the sporting goods market. 20,000 m2 of sporting goods stores. 500 million just in the land and buildings, another 225 million just in imported stock, and $15 million in advertising. And if it keeps selling like it has been selling it will sell all of that stock in around 8 hours.

I probably went a bit overboard. But Kemp Outdoors will be pulling in over 600 million a day in profits if the sales keep up like they've been the last few hours. Will have to see how much the overhead is for 20,000m2 of sporting goods stores.

If you produce good quality and sell it on b2b at a reasonable price I'll buy it up. I bought $39 million worth of quality 45 bats earlier (and they will only take around 32 hours to sell if they keep selling at the current rate).
