Hmm, yes. I think I'll go into the food market, but I'll have a look around. Don't want to intrude on another Bay12ers market, unless Toaster doesn't mind?

Well, speaking only as VP:
1) The game is structured such that it's neigh on impossible for a single person to fulfill all of a market niche.
2) Competition is what keeps prices reasonable. If anything, I'd say most of the EoS markets need *more* competition, because pricing is still craziness in a lot of situations.
3) If you're still worried about it, take a look at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsxV1hP-X5hVdGF6R0h3dkVxTmVrOFlvSjZXVjl0QlE
and hope that we've been keeping it up to date, and then figure out what markets the 4-dozen-ish of us haven't covered. :-)

Okay, I'm thinking I'm going to make a new account that isn't attached to Facebook, because the Facebook login thing is horribly broken and I can't get to my account 6 times out of 10. What would be a good industry to get into at the moment?
I still notice a total lack of a number of hot foods on the B2B, which is why I'm helping Toast Industries get into that market.

I started off doing hot foods, but then there were no meat/salt suppliers. So I sold off that company, started a new one focusing on condiments. Been doing great ever since, 100M net worth in a week (even with the salt market collapse early when I started off).

Once I IPO this company, I'm going to start a Kunullung Fried Cat hot food franchise  :D

You can easily produce lots of salt on your own btw.

Food over the counter and condiments seems to be in great demand these days.

currently, the minimum.

next week we'll probably have enough money to make 1% of the earnings for each player

On that note, I believe that is why the company should stay private.
Sure, IPO money would be nice, but then how do you control "fair" access to shares? Even if you did slowly release them only as people were able to buy them, the price would go up and up and the first to be able to buy would be much better off than a later person.
If it stays private you can handle benefits through bonus/salary. It would also prevent someone from selling shares to some schmuck, who could then benefit from any dividends/our hard work.

Great news: Specialist stores may now become feasible.
Can someone tell we how this will benefit stores, I just didn't get it.
