A more functional employment system is now added, bringing the game to v0.50 (what a jump!)

Once again, it is a beta function, so please send a message to Ratan Joyce or file a bug report if you discover anything error(s).

Nice! I saw the job screen.. What you think about a bay 12 community entrprise?

What did you have in mind?

I actually had two ideas about this:
one is to put up some late game stuff, like a car factory, car r&d and a car dealer, and live off import&b2b until we have money to work all the way down the production chain; there we can have multiple specialized roles, as we should manage production/import on a "just in time" way until we can print money

the other is actually a more radical free for all, with everyone having all the roles enabled except 'sell building'.

I'd like to go for the first, however.

I see in my mind a store manager traking sales and writing orders for the production to match the store capacity, production manager asking for parts and items to build stuff filling the orders from stores and handling left over capacity for high roi items, while the warehouse manager keep the factory stocked and get rid of production/retail leftovers on the b2b market (someone should have research because research is just about clicking right now so it makes little sense for a researcher role - maby the retail manager should do that)

three roles, with a couple backups to cover all day operations. what you think?

The first option sounds pretty cool, actually. If we do end up doing that, I'd like to join.

Auto Union: Economy of Scale Community Effort: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=108021.0

I'll create a new account for this so we can hasten building expansion at start (we'll need a couple building for type so we can stagger expansions later when hasten construction becomes unavailable for free)

This sounds intersting. I'm not sure if I want to do anything right now though. But provided you guys only hire Bay12 people who have been registered a while I'd buy a lot of shares at IPO.

I've become the proud owner of IMG... with a whopping 2 shares... seeing its situation, it is salvageable... so I bought up half the shares.

Pet project ahoy.
Sounds fun. Count me in as an investor!

So, can I just have a more advanced rundown? Where do the goods go? How much does it cost for buildings?

Might I suggest taking the existing Google Doc for the company list and adding another tab to it to coordinate actions of the community fortress company?

Good idea. I'm usually confused as to what to keep stocked. I don't know if we're going to be producing wheels or auto body parts or whatever.
